10,000 walkers participated in last weekend's Walk to Mary. The 22 mile walking pilgrimage started at St Joseph’s Shrine in De Pere, Wi and ended at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Champion. The Order of Malta’s Hospitality and First Aid Center (https://orderofmaltahospitalitycenter.org/) provided the medical care for those with issues at the end.

On the first anniversary of his election to the See of Peter, Pope Leo XIV paid a pastoral visit to Pompeii today, on the Feast of the Supplication to the Blessed Virgin of the Rosary.
On this special occasion, the Grand Master Fra’ John T. Dunlap has sent a letter of good wishes to the Pontiff, in which he emphasised how the Pope has “wisely combined respect for Tradition with openness to the challenges of the present day, embodying that balance between continuity and renewal of which the Church is in such deep need.”
For the Order of Malta, the Pope’s visit is also an opportunity to recall the service provided at the soup kitchen "Pilgrim House" in Pompeii by the Grand Priory of Naples and Sicily: for over ten years, some 55 volunteers have been serving more than 42,000 meals a year to those in need. A work of mercy that concretely responds to the Holy Father’s call not to leave anyone on the margins.
