Good morning! Today we will conclude our reading in Ephesians chapter three. May the Lord help us to love each other as one in Him. Enjoy today’s reading and your weekend.

Bible Verse – Ephesians 3:20-21 NLT

“20 Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. 21 Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen.”

Reflection

Apostle Paul was in awe of what God was doing to unify Jewish and Gentile believers. To unite the two groups was truly the work and power of God. Apostle Paul understood this, and he also knew it would result in more than he could ask or think. He knew the miracle of God’s love through Christ Jesus that made it possible for all of creation to be reconciled to God – no longer Jew or Gentile, but one in Christ.

Sisters and brothers, this is such a beautiful reminder that believers are all one in Christ Jesus. May we live that out in these days. Let us recognize Satan’s attempts to keep us divided and overcome by the love and power of Christ that lives within us.

Prayer

Father God, thank you for your amazing grace and mercy on our lives. You have been good. Father, thank you for sending your Son Jesus Christ to save us. His rescue mission was purely a testament of Your love for us. Lord, thank you for the prayers that you have answered and the ones you are making away for. Lord, in our waiting surround us with your peace and presence.

Lord, forgive us for the sins we committed (knowingly and unknowingly). Help us to continue to transform and be more like you in our hearts, relationships, work life, our homes, communities, and finances. Lord, break our hearts for what breaks yours. Help us to live out our calling and make an impact on those we are called to serve.

Lord, be with the children as they go to school today. Protect them from the present evil times. Lord, shield them from school attacks, abuse, traffickers, and harm. Lord, help them with their studies, keep them warm, well, and fed.

Lord, we pray for those who are sick or navigating chronic illness and/or pain. Lord, direct the medical professionals on the best way to treat their medical condition. Lord, ease pain. Lord, remove tumors and cancer. Strength those going through cancer treatments and comfort their families as they look to you for miraculous healing.

Lord, we pray for the women struggling with addiction, anxiety, and fear. Lord, we pray that you remove those spirits that are not of you from them, the environments that they are in, and their homes. Replace those with Your spirit and fill them with the love and acceptance that only you can provide. Lord, surround them with opportunities and availability to be around other Christian women who follow after you and live out your Word in the world.

Lord, we pray for those who will be traveling next week and we ask for traveling grace. We pray for comfort for those who are grieving and ask for strength and peace.

As You Trust I Him

Good morning! Today we will continue our reading in Ephesians chapter three starting with verse fourteen. It’s written with Apostle Paul explaining the vast love of God for all his people. Join me as we read this important section.

Bible Verse – Ephesians 3:14-19 NLT

“14 When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father,[e]15 the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth.[f]16 I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. 17 Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. 18 And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. 19 May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.”

Reflection

These verses are such a great reminder of God’s love for us. It was so overwhelming for Paul that he literally fell to his knees in awe of God’s love for us all and prayed. I only pray that we feel that way too when we think of God’s unfailing love for us.

Paul’s prayer is still significant for us today. The prayer for power and inner strength through God’s spirit. Yes, we truly need God to empower us with inner strength to continue to walk in the freedom that we have in Christ Jesus.

The other part about Christ making a home in our hearts is also critical to our maturity in Christ Jesus. As we mature as Christians we recognize His faithfulness and we continue to trust Him and accept Him faithfully in our hearts. His love and our love for Him become our anchor, and it keeps us strong even when the storms of life try to uproot the anchor.

The blessing of the prayer is simple but so rich and needed: that we may know –

how wide,

how long,

how high,

and how deep his/Christ’s love is.

In knowing these things we will be complete trusting His love for us and being one in Christ.

Sisters and brothers, meditate on Paul’s prayer and reflect on God’s love for you. Let Him be your anchor today and always.

Prayer

Father God, we thank you for sending Apostle Paul to minister to the Gentiles so that we would all know about your love for us. Thank you for your son Jesus Christ who made a way for us to be reconciled back to you. Lord, thank you for loving us and for keeping us. Lord, we know that you did not say the world would be perfect, but we are grateful to have you as our anchor when things go well and when they don’t. Lord, continue to strengthen us as we journey through this temporary life. Lord, give rest to the weary. Comfort the overwhelmed and overburdened. Lord, remove the chains of bo***ge and help us to walk freely in you. Lord, awaken dry and dead bones so that we find and live life in you. Lord, transform us and continue to equip us with all the things you have for us to do in this world.

Lord, we pray for parents, guardians, teachers, grandparents, and those who have children in their care. Lord, help them to raise their children to be Christ followers. Lord, equip them with prayer lives, and hope in You. Lord, help them with the tools they need to recognize evil and turn away from it. Lord, give them mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual strength to navigate each day. Lord, bless the finances of each home so that bills will be paid, food will be available, and medical treatment to be affordable and accessible.

Lord, you know every prayer request that has been stated or prayed. Lord, we ask that you answer our prayers.

In Jesus’ name, amen!

COME BOLDLY AND CONFIDENTLY

Good morning! Today we will continue our reading in Ephesians chapter three with Apostle Paul reminding the Gentiles of God’s plan that through Christ Jesus all believers can come boldly and confidently into God’s presence. Join me as we read.

Bible Verse – Ephesians 3:8-13 NLT

“8 Though I am the least deserving of all God’s people, he graciously gave me the privilege of telling the Gentiles about the endless treasures available to them in Christ. 9 I was chosen to explain to everyone[c] this mysterious plan that God, the Creator of all things, had kept secret from the beginning.

10 God’s purpose in all this was to use the church to display his wisdom in its rich variety to all the unseen rulers and authorities in the heavenly places. 11 This was his eternal plan, which he carried out through Christ Jesus our Lord.

12 Because of Christ and our faith in him,[d] we can now come boldly and confidently into God’s presence. 13 So please don’t lose heart because of my trials here. I am suffering for you, so you should feel honored.”

Reflection

Apostle Paul’s ministry was to share the Good News to all people – Jews and Gentiles. Throughout his ministry he focused on the Gentiles (non-Jewish) to ensure they knew about the salvation available to them through Christ Jesus.

Humbly, Paul shared the riches of Christ blessings. Through faith in Christ, Christians can approach God freely and confidently. Sisters and brothers, we don’t need to go through a priest to ask for prayer. We can now go to the highest priest – God directly, freely and confidently with our prayers, and He will answer.

Take time today and throughout the week and go boldly and confidently to God in prayer. Spend time with Him, allow Him to soften and work in your heart as you surrender your life to Him.

Prayer

Dear Lord, thank you for waking us up to experience another day here on earth. Lord, thank you for the blessings you have given us. Lord, your grace has given us so many reasons to be thankful and filled with joy. Lord, we don’t want to walk through life bitter and miserable, help us to reflect on the greater things and not be bound by the enemies attempts to keep us depressed or ungrateful. Lord, there are people in this world going through extreme difficulties, grief, stress, anxiety, hunger, and oppression. Lord, we pray for each person and their circumstances. Lord, be with the unhoused and help them to become homed. Lord, help those who are struggling financially and help them to overcome their financial hardships. Lord, we pray for the single parents trying to make a better life for their children. Lord, help them with safe and healthy child care arrangements. Help them to provide for their children’s wellbeing and mental health. Lord, strengthen their quality as a family unit.

Lord, we pray for peace on our nation and for all the countries around the world. Lord, we pray for economic recovery, safety, and leaders who serve you with their whole heart. Lord, you know every need and every prayer that has been prayed. Lord, continue to transform our hearts to be more like you in every way.

Continue to heal those who are sick. Touch the limbs and blood circulation of those still recovering from surgery. Lord, relieve pain for those who have chronic conditions.

Lord, continue your mighty work in us. Keep transforming us to who you have called us to be. In Jesus’ name, amen!

10/20/2026

Good morning! It’s so nice to be back. This morning we will continue our reading in the book of Ephesians chapter three with Apostle Paul explaining God’s mysterious plan. Join me as we read today’s devotion.

Bible Verse – Ephesians 3:1-7 NLT

“When I think of all this, I, Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus for the benefit of you Gentiles[a] . . . 2 assuming, by the way, that you know God gave me the special responsibility of extending his grace to you Gentiles. 3 As I briefly wrote earlier, God himself revealed his mysterious plan to me. 4 As you read what I have written, you will understand my insight into this plan regarding Christ. 5 God did not reveal it to previous generations, but now by his Spirit he has revealed it to his holy apostles and prophets.

6 And this is God’s plan: Both Gentiles and Jews who believe the Good News share equally in the riches inherited by God’s children. Both are part of the same body, and both enjoy the promise of blessings because they belong to Christ Jesus.[b] 7 By God’s grace and mighty power, I have been given the privilege of serving him by spreading this Good News.”

Reflection

First I want to point out that both Gentiles (non-Jewish believers) and Jews who believe share equally in the riches inherited by God’s children. There’s no discrimination or bias amongst believers – God sees us all as His children regardless of race, background, ethnicity, and gender. Our work is to love as God loves us – equally. Apostle Paul was often targeted and imprisoned for the work of sharing the Good News to the Gentiles, which drew Jewish opposition against him. However, it is clear, the Good News is that salvation is for everyone who believes – one church, one body, all are children of God.

Prayer

Father God, we thank you for your love and grace toward us. You have been so gracious toward us. Thank you for allowing us to be Your children. Thank you for those you sent ahead of us to share the Good News so that we would believe and be saved. Lord, we pray for nonbelievers around the world who are still unaware of who You are. Lord, we pray for the Good News to continue to spread around the world. We pray for more people to know and believe. Lord, equip us in the knowledge and understanding of Your word so that we may live it out and share it with others.

Lord, we pray for the youth of this generation to know and believe in you. Lord, we ask that you cover and protect them from harm as they go to school this day and throughout the week. Lord, protect them from being bullied and from bullying others. Lord, help them to understand their assignments and excel in their studies. Lord, encamp your army of angels around their classrooms and school campus. Protect them all. Lord, comfort the family who lost their child due to violence. Help strengthen them during this difficult time.

Lord, we pray for those going to work, those in need of better work environments, and those seeking employment. Lord, give each of us favor today with our assignments, peers, and bosses. Lord, give us discernment and help us to make decisions that glorify you. Lord, help us to be a light in the darkness and let us feel your presence at work within us and around us. Lord, be with those who are going on interviews and help them with their responses.

Lord, we pray for those who are not well and we ask for Your healing. Lord, touch those in need of financial help and provide for their needs. Lord, continue to bless our families and friends with Your love, peace, comfort, and mercy.

In Jesus name, amen!🙏

Good afternoon! Sorry for the delay. May God bless you. May His face shine on you and give you peace. Please note, I will be on vacation until October 19. God willing I will resume messages on October 20.

Good afternoon. Enjoy today’s devotion. Bible Verse – Ephesians 2:19-22 NLT “19 So now you Gentiles are no longer strangers and foreigners. You are citizens along with all of God’s holy …

Good morning! God makes a way when there is no way. He is still in business of performing miracles, changing lives, and healing the sick and broken hearted. He sent Jesus for us. Even when you don’t understand what He is doing, keep trusting Him and His plan.

10/06/2026

Good morning! Today we will continue our reading in Ephesians chapter two. Enjoy.

Bible Verse – Ephesians 2:11-13 NLT

“11 Don’t forget that you Gentiles used to be outsiders. You were called “uncircumcised heathens” by the Jews, who were proud of their circumcision, even though it affected only their bodies and not their hearts. 12 In those days you were living apart from Christ. You were excluded from citizenship among the people of Israel, and you did not know the covenant promises God had made to them. You lived in this world without God and without hope. 13 But now you have been united with Christ Jesus. Once you were far away from God, but now you have been brought near to him through the blood of Christ.”

Reflection

These verses are significant to anyone who was not Jewish, but became Christians. The significance is that Jesus made a way for more than the Jewish people to be saved and reconciled back to God. Those who were considered Gentiles were uncircumcised, excluded/alienated, left out from participating in God’s covenant, without hope for their future, and without God.

But praise God for Jesus Christ, where those who were far away from God and the Jews, were/are now brought near because of the blood of Jesus Christ. Sin separates us from God, and it is only the atonement of Jesus Christ that removes that sin barrier. By God’s grace and mercy, peace was established between the Jewish and the Gentiles believers – all believers, and the peace of God and the people who believe in Him.

Prayer

Father God, thank you for sending Jesus Christ to save us and reconcile us back to you. Lord, forgive us of our sins against you and others (knowingly and unknowingly). Lord, soften our hearts and give us an obedient spirit that chases after you.

Be with us today. Watch over us and protect us against the plots of the evil one. Lord, cover us, heal us, and transform us to be more like Christ every day.

Lord, help those in need mentally, emotionally, physically, spiritually, and financially. Lord, stabilize the thinking of those experiencing stress, anger, anxiety – give them wisdom, discernment, and clarity. Lord, stabilize funds for those who are without, in need, and with limited resources to have each need met and have overflow.

Lord, help us to keep You first in our lives. In Jesus’ name, amen.🙏
