⚠️ SCAM ALERT – Impersonation Scam ⚠️

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office has received recent reports of an impersonation scam. The scammer is identifying as a deputy with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, and is requiring payment to avoid being arrested for a supposed subpoena. The scammer is requesting payment in the form of gift cards or pre-paid debit cards.

THIS IS A SCAM. Our team at the Sheriff’s Office will NEVER ask for payment for any fines or fees. Always be cautious with callers who attempt to keep you on the phone, and make threats of increasing payment or other penalties for hanging up or not paying. If you receive one of these calls, DO NOT give out any personal information, or provide any form of payment.

Our church family is hurting today from the loss of one of the best men we have ever known. Please pray for his family tomorrow as they have to say goodbye.

Church services are cancelled tomorrow.

Easter service schedule for Mendota Baptist Church is as follows: We will not be having Sunday School, worship service will begin at 10:30 am, FOR HIS GLORY will be singing and will have the entire service. We will be observing COMMUNION at the end of the song service EVERYONE INVITED PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD.

Mendota Baptist Church will not be having services tomorrow due to frigid temperatures and snow covered roads still lingering in our area. Everyone please stay safe and warm. Have a good week and we will make a decision soon about Wednesday evening service.
