Psalm 62v5: “For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him.”

Mark 6v31: And he said to them, “Come away by yourselves to a desolate place and rest a while.” For many were coming and going, and they had no leisure even to eat.

Just because the world never stops, doesn’t mean we can’t. Jesus invites, even commands, that we practice withdrawing, trusting that HE is the one who upholds our lives. In this way, we will actually be able to show back up stronger, better, more whole in Christ.
