-June 9th will be the last Bible Study meeting as we break for the Summer months.
-June 15th will be the last Living Grace Support meeting as we will also take a break over the Summer.

When Jesus appears to his fearful disciples on the evening of the first day of the week, he says: "Peace be with you!" He breathes the Holy Spirit upon them, sending them into the world with forgiveness and peace. This peace restores our relationships with God, our neighbors, all of creation, and ourselves.

We say "All Are Welcome Here", but what does that really mean?

GLC is a Reconciling in Christ congregation. We are particularly aware that some people have been wounded by churches. We know that sometimes it's hard to connect to a faith community because of past hurt or bad experiences.

In his ministry, Jesus broke down barriers among people and practiced radical love of neighbor. We endeavor to do the same, welcome all people, recognizing that our diversity is a gift from God. We are an inclusive congregation and ALL are welcome!

We embrace and celebrate today, June 1st, as the beginning of Pride Month. Take this time to reflect on how we each can practice radical empathy, love, and inclusivity in our own lives.

With May behind us, our hymn battle nominations have come to a close. Official voting for the Hymn Battle Bracket begins this Sunday 6/7 and will continue every Sunday until 7/26 in the Narthex!

Each Sunday we'll vote between two hymns within the bracket - votes are limited to one per person. We'll conclude our battle bracket by announcing the winner 9/13 during worship, and celebrate by singing the winning hymn in church 9/20. Happy voting!

Our Prayer Ministry continues June 21st during coffee hour! Please join us after worship this day for a prayer workshop led by Lynn Perry where we'll continue our discussion on different forms of prayer, and how we can pray for each other and the world.

We'll also discuss the "who, what, where, when, how, and why" we've prayed since our first session. All are welcome, you do not have to have attended the first session to attend this one!

We recognize this is on Father's Day, but rest assured we'll have you out by noon! We look forward to seeing you.
