Our worship schedule was back to normal this past Sunday (8/16/26). It will stay that way until a new schedule begins in September. Here's that new schedule, starting September 2nd:
• Bilingual Service: Wednesdays at 6:30 pm
• English Service: Sunday at 9:00 am
• Spanish Service: Sunday at 11:00 am

Nuestro horario de servicios de adoración volvió a la normalidad el pasado domingo (el 16 de agosto). Se mantendrá así hasta que comience el nuevo horario en septiembre. Aquí está el nuevo horario a partir del 2 de septiembre:
• Servicio bilingüe: miércoles a las 6:30 pm
• Servicio en inglés: domingo a las 9:00 am
• Servicio en español: domingo a las 11:00 am

Our church picnic is this Sunday and we will be gathering at Bethel for the service and picnic. The service will be held in our church building.
11am bilingual service with lunch to follow at noon.

To share more information about damage:

The tornado caused significant damage to our roof, some trusses, but there's not much visible damage inside, except for a broken window in the kitchen. There doesn't seem to be major water damage.
We're still early in the process — remediation has just started and insurance is assessing the full damage now. We'll share more, once we know more.

Please keep in your prayers not just our church, but our whole community — especially neighbors dealing with displacement from their homes, and those without power and water right now. We ask for God's continued guidance and strength for everyone navigating this, and we're grateful for this community holding each other up.

We are still in the stage of assessing our property and addressing this emergency, but here is our plan for the next few days:

Services at Bethel's location is canceled - both Thursday night's service and our Sunday services.

We will gather together on Sunday, August 2nd at Eternal Love Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1011 Midway Rd, Appleton, WI at 11:00am for a bilingual opportunity to see and connect with our Bethel family, pray for and with each other, take comfort in the appointed readings and sermon from God's Word, share in Holy Communion.

We hope our Bethel family can all join us! Please reach out to those you know who many not yet have power/internet and let them know about our service on Sunday.

God be praised for the love he shows us in the care he allows us to extend to each other!

Our church and school building sustained damage in the storm and tornado yesterday. Our city of Menasha is coping with emergency response and an overwelming outpouring of volunteer support. We thank our Heavenly Father for bringing us and our neighbors through this storm and we pray for His continued blessings as clean up efforts start.

Volunteers wanting to help with cleanup can communicate and coordinate through WELS Christian Aid and Relief. Plans are still coming together, but as of right now we know this:

Clean up starting on Friday, July 31st at the earliest.
Staging efforts will be at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Harrison.

Further communication will come in the next days regarding church services this weekend.

May our perfect Lord and Savior bring calm to the distressed and rest to the weary.
