December Bible Study Homework
Post-it Note Studies- 9 Fruit of the Spirit, the 10 Commandments, the Six things God hates, 6 Pieces of the Armor of God.
Take a pad of post-it notes sheets.
On each sheet write one of each of the items above. (ex. Love, thou shalt not steal, a lying tongue & helmet of salvation)
Toss them in a container.
Pull out one each day and study it using the Bible, concordance, bible dictionary and commentary. Post it on mirror, refrigerator or any place that you frequent as a reminder.
Pray daily asking the Holy Spirit to give you an understanding and help you apply it to your life.
Continue until your bowl is empty and your spirit full.

Bible Study Homework for August 2018

“What He Said… (Words in Red)

This month we will focus our study on the words of Jesus.
• Choose one of the four gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke or John)
• Each day study a chapter, focusing on what He said.
Don’t focus this month on his miracles, healings or deliverances, but on
What He Said. (In most bibles Jesus’ words are written in red.)
Reading and studying the words of Jesus is important to us as the Body of Christ because one of the jobs of the Holy Spirit is to bring back to remembrance the things Jesus spoke.
John 14:26 “But the comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance whatsoever I have said unto you.
• Purchase a notebook or journal and write down the words that apply to your life each day.
• In prayer, pray those scriptures and watch God move in your life.
Also, memorizing those passages of scriptures will give the Holy Ghost something to work with. Amen?

JUNE BIBLE STUDY ACTIVITY: MENTORS OF THE BIBLE

WHAT IS YOUR PASSION? WHAT GOD GIVEN GIFTS OR ABILITIES DO YOU POSSESS THAT CAN BE USE TO BUILD THE KINGDOM OF GOD? WHETHER IT’S MUSIC, OR FISHING OR WRITING OR EVEN PREACHING YOU CAN FIND MENTORS IN THE BIBLE WHO WILL ENCOURAGE AND HELP YOU STIR UP THOSE GIFTS. EITHER USE THEM OR HAVE THEM TAKEN AWAY BY THE FATHER AND GIVEN TO ANOTHER. SO…LET US BEGIN THE STIRRING PROCESS BY LOCATING OUR PERSONAL MENTORS FROM THE BIBLE. ONE EXAMPLE FOR THOSE WHO ARE FISHERMAN, THE APOSTLE PETER WAS A FISHERMAN ALONG WITH JAMES AND JOHN. JESUS, OF COURSE WAS THE MASTER FISHERMAN.
MUSICIAN? THE PSALMIST DAVID WILL BE YOUR MENTOR. GET THE PICTURE?

HOMEWORK: FIND YOUR MENTOR FROM THE BIBLE AND BEGIN A CHARACTER STUDY OF THAT INDIVIDUAL AND GLEAN WHATEVER YOU CAN IN ORDER TO STIR UP THAT ALL IMPORTANT GIFT WAITING INSIDE YOU. REMEMBER SOMEONE IS WAITING ON YOUR GIFT.

APRIL BIBLE STUDY ASSIGNMENT
Bible Snacks and Chit chats with the Lord
Bible Snacks are snack sized portions of the Word that you spiritually ingest two or three times a day. For example:
Names of God
The Parables of Jesus
Names of Jesus
Just as we snack every day, multiple times a day to satisfy the physical man, we too need snacks daily to feed the spiritual man.
And
Chit Chats with the Lord are small increments of time in prayer with the Lord.
3, 5 or 7-minute increments.
Join us as we Snack on the Word of God-at least twice a day and
Chit Chat with the Lord for 3,5 or 7 minutes at least three times a day.
