This coming Sunday, we will help our children start off the new school year by “Blessing the Backpacks” during the children’s time. Children of all ages are invited to bring their backpacks to the front of the church to be blessed for the new school year. As children, youth, college students, teachers, and staff begin a new year, may we keep them in our prayers for a life-giving, nurturing, and healthy year during which all may grow in intelligence, curiosity, kindness, and community
