Several years ago, one of our volunteer teams worked with Blue Atlas Project to help install a community aquaponics garden. That garden was a huge success and has resulted in many families learning to grow their own produce. That community invited us to transfer the aquaponics system to another part of the island, allowing a whole new group of people to do the same. So last week, our team dismantled it and started prepping it for a new season of learning and growing.

We rounded off the week with some pickleball, a birthday celebration, and a sobering trip to the Memorial Park – always remembering the many who lost their lives in hurricane Dorian, and why we do what we do here. 🩵
This team was small but mighty... and we can’t wait for them to come back!!
