Knights of Columbus -St. Brigid Council 15393 St. Brigid Council 15393 - St. Brigid Catholic Church, Memphis, TN The Knights of Columbus is the world's largest Catholic fraternal service organization.

Founded by the Venerable Father Michael J. McGivney in New Haven, Connecticut, in 1882, it was named in honor of the navigator Christopher Columbus. Originally serving as a mutual benefit society to low-income immigrant Catholics, it developed into a fraternal service organization dedicated to providing charitable services, promoting Catholic education and actively defending Catholicism in various nations.

Congratulations to Brother Knight Scott Bahrke of St. Brigid Council 15393 - will be Ordained this morning. God has big plans for this one! Scott will celebrate his first Mass of Thanksgiving at our Parish - St. Brigid, at 4:00pm today.
