West Tennessee Sons of Allen

West Tennessee Sons of Allen The West Tennessee Sons of Allen is the Conference level branch of the
Connectional Sons of Allen. The President is Mr. Lewis Hurd.

All men are invited to participate. In 1984, the A M E Church created the Sons of Allen Men’s Fellowship to foster closer relationships between men of the church, to equip men of the church for meaningful service, to reach unchurched men, and to present positive role models for our youth. The Sons of Allen has grown into an important connectional movement over the past twenty-plus years and the Fe

llowship is becoming a true connectional ministry. The challenges and disturbing realities facing African American men call for a response from the church.

Reverend Randall Webster, D. Min.
On Thursday, June 20, 2024, the Rev. Dr. Randall L. Webster, transitioned in the city of Pulaski, TN. His role as Manager Of The Rose Of Sharon Funeral Service called for him to prepare the necessary forms needed to service the family of a 51 year old Manchester TN resident who request cremation as his final method of disposition. He also was a member of the staff of V K Ryan and Son Funeral Home, Columbia, TN, and served as Assistant Manger of Grace Memorial Funeral Home, Fayetteville, TN

Rev. Webster was the esteemed son of the late Reverend Leland H. Webster and Annie M. Webster. He was serving as the Senior Pastor of Bethel Chapel African Methodist Episcopal (A.M.E.) Church in Columbia, Tennessee, following eight impactful years as the pastor of Woodfork Chapel A.M.E. Church in Shelbyville, Tennessee. Throughout his tenure, Reverend Webster has been instrumental in transforming lives, strengthening families, and fostering positive change within the community.

Reverend Webster's journey in ministry began in 2010 when he answered his calling and delivered his trial sermon at Wayman Chapel A.M.E. Church in Columbia, Tennessee, under the guidance of his father, Rev. Leland H. Webster. His pastoral appointments have included serving at St. James A.M.E. Church in Nashville, Tennessee, and previously at Woodfork Chapel A.M.E. Church, before assuming his pastoral role at Bethel Chapel A.M.E. Church.

Educationally, Reverend Webster earned his Master of Divinity Degree with honors (Cum Laude) from Payne Theological Seminary in Wilberforce, Ohio, in 2013. He furthered his academic pursuits by attaining a Doctor of Divinity Degree from Payne Theological Seminary in 2021.

Before entering the ministry, Reverend Webster dedicated 26 years of exemplary service to the United States Air Force, achieving the highest enlisted rank of Chief Master Sergeant. During his military career, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Studies from the University of Maryland and a Master's Degree in Human Resource Management from Webster University. His last assignment at Warner Robins Air Force Base in Georgia saw him leading a team responsible for overseeing military human resource actions for a vast number of service members and their families.

Beyond his professional and pastoral commitments, Reverend Webster was deeply engaged in community service. He holds the position of District Coordinator of the 13th Episcopal District Sons of Allen and serves as the Recording Secretary for the Connectional Sons of Allen. Reverend Webster also contributes his expertise to various civic organizations, including his role as vice-chairman of the Maury County Regional Planning Commission and his previous chairmanship of the UT/TSU Extension Advisory Council and the Mount Pleasant Planning Commission.

In addition to his diverse professional and community involvements, Reverend Webster found joy in personal pursuits such as golfing, hunting, fishing, and tending to his mini-farm. His life is guided by the motto he has held since his youth: "If I can help somebody as I pass along. If I can cheer somebody with a word or song. If I can show somebody how they’re traveling wrong, then my living shall not be in vain."

Reverend Webster is happily married to Betsey P. Webster, formerly of Melbourne, Florida.

Complete arrangements will be announced later by V K Ryan & Son Funeral Home, Columbia, TN
