Refuge for H.S. Sundays (5-7pm), M.S. Wednesdays (6-7:45pm)!!

THE REFUGE: Sunday 5-7pm (High School) & Wednesday 6-7:45pm (Middle School):

The Refuge is the name of our Sunday and Wednesday night programs. The night is packed with lots of energy, tons of fun and fellowship and a time to meet with God and respond to who He is.

Friends! We are starting our Poolside Bible Study THIS WEDNESDAY! We will be going through Practicing the Way by John Mark Comer by the pool from 5:30pm-7:30pm! We will be meeting at the Merriman’s this week! The address is in the parent email! We are pumped!!!🤩

Refuge fam!! We are starting our Student Serve Mondays next Monday June 1st! This summer our random lunch club theme will be BEST FREAKING DELI SANDWICH IN MEMPHIS! 🥪👊 Our first serve day will helping set up for VBS and we are PUMPED!!! Pickup and drop off is at the Refuge at 9:30 am and 2 pm! We hope to see you there!!

This is your official invitation to join us this summer for Mere Christiani-TEA where we’ll be gathering to drink tea (and coffee) and discuss CS Lewis’s Mere Christianity. Please reach out to William, Ava, or Daniel if you’d like to be a part of it so that we know how many copies of the book to order. Hope you can join us!

Our first meeting will be on Thursday June 4th at 11 am in the Refuge office where we’ll hand out books and watch the incredible movie CS Lewis The Most Reluctant Convert.

Friends! VBS is almost HERE! We are looking for student volunteers to serve during the week of June 8th-11th! 🤩VBS is truly one of the most spiritually fruitful weeks of the year here at Christ Methodist. A precious event and a great opportunity for older students to serve the younger generation growing in Christ! We would love for our Refuge fam to be a part of this! Volunteer link is in our bio! FAM! We are praying for you all as you finish out in school and take your exams 🙏 ALMOST DONE!!! That being said, SUMMERS a COMIN’! We will kicking off the summer LITERALLY with our kickball human foosball SUMMER KICKOFF PARTY! 🤩🦵☄️ This will be on May 27th from 5:30-7:30 PM FOOD PROVIDED! WERE PUMPED FOR SUMMER!!!!👊

Friends! Tomorrow is SENIOR NIGHT and our LAST REFUGE of the semester!!! 🗣️ We are excited to celebrate our Seniors and our semester together from 5:30pm-7:30pm! Tomorrow is our last Refuge but DO NOT fret! We are in full swing this summer and are excited to announce the Refuge summer schedule soon! SEE YALL TOMORROW!!! 🤩🤩🤩

Worship and Testimony night was incredible! We are so proud and thankful for our friends that stood up and declared the Lord’s work in their lives. Powerful stuff! God continues to move in and through the lives of our students and we are overjoyed. We love y’all! 🤍

Friends! Tomorrow night is a very special Wednesday because it is WORSHIP AND TESTIMONY NIGHT!! 🤩 Tomorrow we will be meeting in Wilson Chapel for Refuge at 5:30pm to worship, reflect, and hear testimonies from our peers! After this at 6:30pm, we will depart from there to celebrate the semester with our D Groups to their chosen dinner locations (see below)! We are pumped!!! See y’all TOMORROW!
