The heart of our Back-to-School Tailgate isn’t just the fun and games—it’s the giving. This year, we’re collecting backpacks and school supplies to bless students, teachers, and administrators not just for one day, but all year long through our ONEthing campaign.

City Changers of Memphis is making it easy to give: we’ve created a special Amazon link where you can purchase backpacks and supplies that will be shipped directly to us. Every donation helps a child walk into the school year with confidence and helps educators feel supported along the way.

Our Back-to-School Tailgate is coming up Friday, August 2 from 110AM to 2 PM at McFarland Community Center—and it’s going to be a blast for the whole family!

Free school supplies 🎒

Join us Saturday, August 2 from 10 AM to 2 PM at McFarland Community Center for our Back-to-School Tailgate!

Whether you’re coming for the free backpacks, the food, the fun, or just the good vibes—we’ve got something for everybody. Bounce houses, music, games, and even a little friendly competition for the best tailgate setup.

This weekend, we celebrated the incredible men in our lives — our fathers, mentors, and role models. 💙

Kicking off Father’s Day weekend, the RiverFront Father’s Day Sneaker Ball honored standout dads from our community in a powerful and stylish way. Each father was presented by someone special in their life, creating a truly heartfelt moment.

Special thanks to Mayor Paul Young for presenting each honoree with an official proclamation from the City of Memphis, recognizing their impact and legacy.
