DAILY THOUGHT - April 24
Psalms 91:2
“I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.”

There are a lot of things that people don't do because they just don't TRUST the Lord. They don't trust that His plan for our lives is much better than our own. They don't trust Him to become LORD of our daily lives. In order to OBEY Him you have to TRUST Him. You have to Believe Him and have confidence in Him that His WAY works. Will you SAY Lord, I'm going to trust your ways and your plans not mine. I don't have to understand everything, I TRUST YOU and therefore I'm going to be OBEDIENT.

❄️ PRAYING FOR TENNESSEE, ARKANSAS, & MISSISSIPPI ❄️

As snow and ice continue to impact communities across the Midsouth, many families are facing dangerous cold, power outages, and uncertainty.

“Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.”
(Galatians 6:2, ESV)

Today, we are called to lift up those in need—
🙏 Pray for families without heat or power
🙏 Pray for first responders and utility workers
🙏 Pray for the elderly, children, and the vulnerable
🙏 Pray for the animals and pets
🙏 Pray that God’s people would step in with compassion, help, and hope

May we not only pray, but also be willing hands and feet when opportunities arise!!

THE STORY OF JESUS BIRTH - PART1
This is how the birth of Jesus the Messiah came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be pregnant through the Holy Spirit. Because Joseph her husband was faithful to the law, and yet did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly.

But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.”

All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”).
