HERE IS A SUMMARY OF THE LESSON..
The End of the Law
Sunday School Lesson Summary
📖 Romans 10:1–13
In Romans 10:1–13, the Apostle Paul the Apostle expresses his deep desire for Israel to be saved. He acknowledges that they have zeal for God, but their zeal is not based on true knowledge. Instead of accepting God’s righteousness through faith, they attempted to establish righteousness through works and obedience to the Law.
Paul teaches that Christ is “the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believeth” (Romans 10:4). This means that Jesus fulfilled the requirements of the Law, making salvation available through faith rather than human effort. No one can earn salvation by works; it is received by believing in Jesus Christ.
Paul contrasts righteousness by the Law with righteousness by faith. The Law required perfect obedience, but faith says salvation is near and accessible. A person does not have to perform impossible works to reach God. Instead, salvation comes through confessing Jesus as Lord and believing that God raised Him from the dead.
📖 Key Truth:Salvation is not achieved by works, rituals, or religious performance—it comes through faith in Jesus Christ.
Romans 10:9 emphasizes two important actions:
* Believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead
* Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord
When a person truly believes, they are justified and saved. Paul also makes it clear that salvation is available to everyone—Jew and Gentile alike. God shows no favoritism; whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Life Application
Believers must place complete trust in Jesus Christ rather than relying on religious works, traditions, or personal goodness. Faith in Christ brings salvation, peace with God, and assurance of eternal life. Christians are also encouraged to share the message of salvation with others so they too may believe and call upon the Lord.
