By some estimates, 40% of Massachusetts residents are food insecure. You will see drop off boxes throughout Melrose. MHCC also has clearly marked bins in the back of our sanctuary which are delivered to A Servants Heart Food Pantry. If you are able to add a little extra to your next.grocery run, here are the items requested for September. Thank you.

Come for a vespers service Tuesday evening and then stay for a jam with our praise band around the fire! Vespers at 6:30pm. Music with the praise band at 7. S'mores provided. Bring a camp chair to sit around the fire. Everyone of all ages welcome!

We're having a family friendly movie night on the lawn of the church after our vespers service. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket at 7pm. We'll be watching True Spirit, a movie based on a true story about Jessica Watson, as she set out to be the youngest person to sail solo, non-stop and unassisted around the world. Refreshments provided! Everyone is welcome!

Join us on Tuesday at 6:30pm for our next vespers service! We'll have special musical guest Josaphat Contreras, who will be conducting a small vocal ensemble and joining us in song. We'll also have members of our praise band backing the service. Everyone of all ages is invited to this service of reflection, spirit, and song in the middle of the week!

🌞 Join us for “Summer Tuesdays at MHCC” All are welcome — bring friends, neighbors, and family!

Summer Vespers Evening Services. This year we’re going to host evening services on Tuesday evening at 6:30pm with fellowship gatherings to follow at 7pm. These will be prayer services to share in prayer and to recharge in the middle of the week and then each will have a different event to follow:

🎉 July 21 — Dance Party & Ice Cream Social
A joyful night of music, movement, and sweet treats. Fun for all ages.

🎬 August 4 — Movie Night
Family‑friendly film on the big screen. Popcorn provided — lawn chairs encouraged.

🎶 August 18 — Praise Band & S’mores
Live music, community singing, and s’mores around the firepit.

🍔 August 25 — End‑of‑Summer Cookout & Lawn Games
Grill-out, games, and a relaxed evening celebrating summer together.

📍 Location: Melrose Highlands Congregational Church
⏰ Time: Tuesday evenings, 6:30 PM Vespers Service in Fellowship Hall, 7 PM Activity on the front lawn - or Fellowship Hall if it’s rainy.
💛 Everyone is welcome, come as you are. — come for All or part of the evening.
