Melbourne First Baptist Church CCLI # 3219517 We are located on Hwy 9 South Spur, not too far from Broadwing, the Flooring Plant, and the Sheriff's Station.

Melbourne First Baptist Church is affiliated with the Rocky Bayou Baptist Association, the Arkansas Baptist State Convention, and the Southern Baptist Convention. Our Sunday schedule is: Sunday School @ 9 a.m., morning worship @ 10 a.m., and evening worship @ 6 p.m. Our Wednesday schedule (when school is in session) is: fellowship meal @ 5:30 p.m., Gospel Project for Kids @ 6 p.m., Youth @ 6 p.m., and prayer meeting @ 6:30 p.m.

For many churches, especially here in the South, the potluck is more than a meal. It is a cherished tradition. Families bring dishes prepared from their gardens, pantries, and favorite recipes, sharing both food and fellowship with one another.

The children of the congregation learn early how to navigate the potluck table. They know which dish belongs to whom. They know that certain church members always bring the same beloved recipes. They know which items will disappear before the end of the serving line and require a little extra speed to secure a helping.

No one needs to label their dishes. The church family already knows. In many ways, the potluck table is a portrait of community, reflecting the people, traditions, and relationships that had been built over the years.

As part of celebrating 175 years of God's faithfulness, Melbourne First Baptist Church will host a special anniversary potluck on September 13. We would be honored for you to join us for this memorable occasion.
