We have a new Pastor, David Jacob Simmons, as of January 1. 2020.
David Jacob Simmons is a Lt Col in the USAF and a Flight Surgeon for the 45th Medical Group at Patrick AFB, FL. During his military career, he has served as the Wing Surgeon General for deployed forces, Chief of Aerospace Medicine, and Regional Director of Admissions for AFROTC SE Region. Additionally, he has taught as an adjunct professor for University of Maryland, Palm Beach College and Broward College.
David was born in Boynton Beach, FL and raised in Delray Beach, FL by his parents, Lucius and Yvonne Simmons. After graduating from high school, David completed his undergraduate education at the USAF Academy in Colorado Springs, CO and, while working full-time, continued on to complete his graduate education through University of Michigan. After serving eight years in the USAF, David pursued and completed his medical degree at Medical University of South Carolina. He went on to complete an internship in Family Medicine, a Masters of Public Health from Nova Southeastern University, and an internship in General Surgery.
