We had a ton of fun at LOFT and EDGE this week! We are making our way through the Sermon on the Mount. This week, we read Matthew 6:1-4, and we talked about how Jesus challenges us to praise God with our actions. We are called to "do good" not because we want attention or praise for ourselves, but because we want to praise God with all that we do. How will you "do good quietly" this week?

Parents! Students! We want to hear from YOU! Join us on Sunday, January 11 from 10-11:30am in the youth room for a special Adult & Student Leaders Meeting. Students of all ages and grade levels are welcome to participate. Please note that this gathering will take the place of Sunday School on January 11.

After the meeting, from 11:30am to 12:30pm, we will offer another session of our annual Child & Youth Protection Policy (CYPP) Training for anyone who wasn't able to attend in December. This training is required every year for anyone who serves as a leader in our youth ministry. If you are not available for this session, please request an individual training with Pastor Bailey or Kaitlin Francavilla. See you soon!

High School Students! Join us on Saturday, December 20 for our annual LOFT Christmas Shopping Trip. This is a great opportunity to connect with your friends and do some Christmas shopping at the Florida Mall in Orlando (about an hour away). Transportation will be provided by adult volunteers who have completed our annual CYPP Training, cleared a background check, and been approved to drive by the Florida Conference.

Students! Please bring enough money to buy lunch AND to purchase any gifts you'd like to buy at the mall. We will gather at the church at 8:30am and leave no later than 9am. If you arrive late, we will leave you behind! We will arrive back at the church no later than 5pm. Youth are not permitted to drive other youth to/from the mall. We will set up a group chat to communicate with parents and youth on the day of the event. Thanks!

We believe that the church should be the safest place on earth for children and youth to gather. Are you called to serve as an adult leader in our youth ministry? Do you want to learn more about the rules we have in place to keep our children and youth safe? Join us for our Child & Youth Protection Policy Training on Wednesday, December 17 from 5:30-7pm in the youth room.

This training is required every year for anyone who serves as a leader in our youth ministry, and a background check is required every three years. At the training, we will discuss the policy and have you complete some paperwork, including a background check authorization form and a new driver form, which is required for anyone who drives kids or youth for a church-sponsored event.

Youth are welcome to participate. High school students (grades 9-12) and young adults (ages 18-21) who would like to serve in a leadership role must complete this training. If you are not available for this date, another training will be offered in January. See you soon!

What a great Sunday! We got to pray over Connor and celebrate his confirmation in worship, and we got to sing Happy Birthday to Jesus with our Christmas Party! We are so grateful for our amazing students - you love each other so well - and for our adult leaders who make the fun possible. Merry Christmas! ✝️🎄🎉

Can you hear the bells? It's time for the combined LOFT and EDGE Suntree Youth Christmas Party! Join us on Sunday, December 14 from 10:30-11:30am in the youth room. We'll have hot chocolate, reindeer games, a white elephant gift exchange, an ugly sweater contest, and most importantly, we'll sing Happy Birthday to Jesus. Invite a friend. It's going to be a blast!

Students! Please wear an ugly Christmas sweater, and bring a wrapped gift (up to $10) for the gift exchange. If you forget to bring a gift, don't worry - we have you covered. The best gift will be seeing YOU at the party!

Just wrapped up an AMAZING week at Brevard Mission Week! We’re beyond grateful for all the incredible places we got to serve. Can’t wait to see everyone back next year! Stand Firm!
