The Islamic Society of Brevard County This masjed has been a place of great peace and security for the many Muslims who have come here over the years and still continue to come.

History
Many Muslims have been in and around the Melbourne area for over twenty years. Prior to the establishment of the Masjed, the Muslims used to get together to pray in various locations in the City of Melbourne , such as the houses or apartments of certain local Brothers. With the constant growth of the Muslim community, it was decided to build a Masjed, a place where prayers could be held ev

eryday, at the five prayer times commanded by our LORD. The Brothers began searching for suitable locations for a Masjed. Allhamdullilah, in 1988, some land was purchased in the most suitable area found, on the eastern part of Melbourne City , and plans were drawn up to build the Masjed. Construction actually began in 1990 and was completed approximately 3 years later. We ask Allah to Bless and provide His Favor upon the many Muslims who got involved and worked especially hard to physically help with the construction by doing such actions as laying the foundation and placing the bricks of the building with their own hands, Subhana Allah! (How Perfect is Allah!). An “Open House” was held at the Masjed in 1994. Since then, our Masjed has been a place of great peace and security for the many Muslimswho have come here over the years and still continue to come. As a reminder, our Lord has promised great rewards for those who come to the Masjed for prayer:

Our Policy
ISBC stands at an equal distance with all local business providers to our community members by having no financial interests in any business entities. Business providers willing to donate to ISBC are recommended to do so through the Islamic method without using the name of ISBC for marketing purposes.

إذا أحب الله عبداً "عسّله" أي استعمله في الخير حتَّى يَرضى عنه مَن حَولَه .
وإذا كره عبداً "بطّأه" أي جعله يتباطأ عن الخير، ويُشغله بالأعمال السيئة.

If God loves a servant, He guides him towards good deeds so that those around him are pleased with him.
And if He dislikes a servant, He makes him to be slow in doing good and preoccupies him with evil deeds.

ان لم يكن لله وجهتك فكل بناء بنيته خراب.
ان لم يكن الله مطلبك فكل طريق مشيته ضياع.

قال الرسول الكريم: «إِنَّ اللهَ تعالى لا يَقْبَلُ مِنَ العملِ إلَّا ما كان له خالصًا ، وابْتُغِيَ بِهِ وِجْهَهُ»

If your destination is not God, every building you build will be ruined.
If God is not your goal, every path you take will lead you astray.

Our Prophet, peace be upon him, said: "God does not accept any deed unless it is done sincerely for His sake."

قال تعالي ﴿ فمالنا من شافعين • وَلا صَديقٍ حَميمٍ ﴾

Increase your good companions, a good friend will intercede for his companion on the Day of judgement.

God Almighty said, “So we have no intercessors, nor a close friend.”

قال جبريل لنبينا محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم: يامحمد عش ماشئت فإنك ميت واعمل ماشئت فإنك مجزى به وأحبب من شئت فإنك مفارقه وأعلم أن شرف المؤمن صلاته بالليل وعزه استغناؤه عن الناس.

الدنيا قصيرة يليها القبر، القيامة، ثم الخلود بالجنة أو النار .

إ‏‏فرح أنك مازلت على قيد الحياة يوماً اخر، لتزرع حسنات، وتؤدي صلوات، وتقدم صدقات. فالذي مضي لن يعود

prophet Gabriel said to Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him: "O Muhammad, live as you wish, you will die. Do as you wish, you will be rewarded for it. Love whomever you wish, you will be separated from them. Know that the honor of the believer lies in his night prayers, and his pride lies in his independence from people."

The life is short, followed by the grave, the Resurrection, and then eternity in Paradise or Hell.

Rejoice that you are still alive one more day, sowing good deeds, performing prayers, and giving charity. What has passed will never return.

My condolences to ISBC community on the loss of our dear brother Shareef alhadad.
In Sha Allah salatul Janaza will be at ISBC after Asr at 4 pm today

May the mercy and the forgiveness of Allah be upon him, may Allah grant him jannah and give his family patience, we pray that Allah brings him to rest through his mercy in his heaven, to Allah we belong and to Him we return.

‎اللـهـم اجزه عن الاحسان إحسانا وعن الاساءة عفوا وغفرانا، اللـهـم ادخله الجنة من غير حساب ولا سابقة عذاب . اللـهـم اّنسه في وحدته وفي وحشته، وفي غربته، اللـهـم انزله منزلاً مباركا وانت خير المنزلين ،اللـهـم أنزله منازل الصديقين والشهداء والصالحين وحسن اولئك رفيقا، إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون.
