Any and all mamas welcome! As a reminder, we meet every Wednesday at Grace Church Melbourne from 9-11am and we provide free childcare. This is a time where moms of all stages and ages can come and form a village to do life together. Motherhood can be hard and overwhelming at times and we don’t want you to do it alone. We want to uplift one another through scripture and prayer, working together to be the best we can be while making some great friends along the way ♥️ If you’re new and have questions, don’t hesitate to reach out!

We all know motherhood is hard, but how many of us are making it even harder than it needs to be by not setting healthy boundaries. God tells us to prioritize Him first, then our spouses, and then our children. Everyone & everything else comes after that. We love our parents, our extended family, our friends and we want to be there for others… but we can’t do it all and definitely not all at the same time. We need Gods wisdom to help us prioritize and have discernment on when to say yes and when to say no. We need to put God first, and be in His word, and ask for His wisdom in prayer. We need to seek Him for guidance. God did not intend for us to live burnout lives that breed resentment. We are not doing motherhood alone, we have a God on our side that loves us and loves our children.

If you would like to join us for our summer sessions, sign ups are now open!!

As a reminder, Motherhood Collective is a Bible/book study held at Grace Church from 9-11am every Wednesday starting June 7th. Over the summer we will be going through the book "Boundaries: When to Say Yes, when to Say No to Take Control of Your Life" by Henry Cloud. Childcare is provided.

Hi everyone!! Sorry this is so late minute, we don’t have enough childcare works for tomorrow so we will be meeting at the playground at Rodes park since it’s fenced in and the kids can play while we chat for a bit. Sorry again it’s last minute and that there’s no childcare. Hope to see you at 9:30 Max K Rodes park 😊

The enemy will try to use shame or our past pain against us so we pull away from others and isolate. This is not Gods plan for us. We need to seek Him and get rid of our shame. He wants us to connect with others, living lives with one another. We need to be vulnerable and not let our shame put us into a world of fear that prevents us from going deeper into our relationships. We are called to pray and fight for one another against the enemy and to do this we need to know what others are fighting against.

Join us tomorrow at 9:30am to go over chapter 6 in “Find Your People,” where it’s all about feeling safe with your closest friends to be vulnerable and how to open the door to let other feels safe to be vulnerable with you…that’s how we form deeper friendships.

For those of you coming to our weekly in-person meet ups, who do not have the book or listen to it as an audiobook, here is an example of the challenge for the week 😊

“Notice the people around you, your people are probably closer than you think.

Get a blank piece of paper and draw scatted circles for each of the activities and venues you frequent over the course of a given week. Label each circle with the location or activity. Next to each circle, write the names of people you interact with in each place. Now think about each of those people in terms of potential friendships.

Who do you enjoy being around?
Who do you share some things in common with?
Who seems genuinely interested in you?

Go back over your list of acquaintances and highlight ten names of people you could see yourself investing in on a deeper level. Pray over those ten highlighted names, and ask God to help you decide on the three to five people to pursue deep relationships with. Who are those people? Circle each name.”
