This is what happens in our small community when a text goes out on a Monday at 8pm it's time to tidy up church grounds and cemetery Wednesday night at 6:30: They show up, get the job done and socialize (a few shy ones are missing from the photo). Open Gym tomorrow, from 10 AM - Noon, with Fr. Mitchell! Looking forward to two really fun activities. We will start the morning with cards. Kids will learn the basics, like basic shuffling, dealing and maybe even the riffle and bridge shuffle. Then, it's on to a few games of Skit. They'll have to learn 500 and Bridge from grandma and grandpa.

After that, though ... it's dodgeball time!

Greetings, and Happy Saint Patrick's Day to you all! ☘️

On the evening of Tuesday, March 10, I presented a draft of a 15-month transition timeline intended to guide us through any parish mergers and closures which are expected to affect our parishes. With only minor additions made following that meeting, I uploaded the most recent version of this document to our parish website on Saturday, March 14. As of right now, according to Wix Analytics, only 76 unique viewers have visited the page where the document may be found.

It is important to me that more of our parishioners read this, so I am providing a direct link to the document below.

The download contains two documents: 1. The transition framework which is intended for our parishes, and 2. a document on the Vatican Council for Culture which gave guidance on the decommissioning of churches.

Each document is nearly 30 pages long, which I understand is a lot. However, each part of the process has been intentionally added and provides a clear presentation of a process intended to ensure our parishioners and church buildings receive the pastoral care and attention they deserve during a time of difficulty and change.
