This is a fun family event! Come on out! 🎄
Thursday, December 2nd is my very favorite night in Shawnee! The nighttime 2021 Christmas Parade!
Entertainers will be stationed at each block starting at 6:00pm. Each block becomes its own little village. Are you a country gal? Head to that block. Classic Rock dude? Head down Main a bit further.
The parade will start about 7:00pm. The fireworks are back after the parade!
Please be sure to keep our youngsters safe by keeping them away from moving floats and vehicles. Parade participants have been instructed to throw candy to the sidewalk or directly hand the candy to kids. No piece of candy is worth a tragedy.
Plan your family's evening with the expectation of some walking from where you park to the parade route. You may have to park several blocks from Main.
Anticipate a wait after the parade as you return to your vehicle and make your way home due to other pedestrians and traffic. Make a memory. Sing a song. Embarrass those kiddos.
