Psalm 27:8, “When You said, ‘Seek My face,’ my heart said to You, ‘Your face, O Yahweh, shall I seek.”
In 2026, may we each find ourselves giving of our hearts, our time, and our worship to God. Give GENEROUSLY!
These kids were awesome to hang out with at our annual lock-in. May they love God with all of their beings!

For many years we have taken our group on a 3 day camping trip to Greenleaf State Park. This year, due to several mounting challenges/situations, things had to be different. I (Josh) am affectionately calling it the MYC Not Camping Trip 2025.

This group of kids and friends knows how to have a good time, even when we have to shake things up. On Thursday we played games, had a bonfire, a campfire devotion, and then split up the guys and girls to spend the night in a couple of air conditioned homes (not gonna lie, that was nice 😁).

We got up Friday morning and had breakfast at the youth center followed by another time of devotion. After that we finished out the day with bowling, laser tag, and arcade games at Altitude 1291 in Midwest city.

Thanks to all who served and made it possible! We love serving the youth of our community and getting to see how God is moving in the lives of our favorite young people.

Happy New Year! We’re having fun with our favorite kids all night for our annual lock-in! We started the night with a church service, followed by bowling, and then we rang in the new year. And we’re just getting started!

2024 MYC Fall Break Camping Trip 🏕️
What a special group of young people we had on the trip this year! From our fifth graders all the way to our seniors, these kids know how to love God and how to love other people. They had loads of fun, they worshiped God around the campfire, they drew closer to the Lord during morning devotion time, they built one another up, and they ate tons of food (as you would imagine a group of teenagers would). Group activities included charades, Jedi Mind Trick, 4-Corner Volleyball, a 4.5 mile hike, Poetry for Neanderthals, and Werewolf. After dark, we could see the faint tail of the comet and many brilliant stars.
The emphasis of this year’s camp was living with eternity in mind, building our lives on truly valuable things that can only be found in serving God. May Jesus continue to be glorified in each of our lives!
We give a special thanks to all of the sponsors who went on the trip and who cooked for the trip. This whole endeavor would be impossible (and certainly not as fun!) without each of you.

Let’s pray for the youth in Meeker tonight at 8:30pm! Both adults and teens are invited.
David will be at the MYC at 8:15pm tonight, if anyone wants to meet there before heading to the parking lot for prayer time.

New summer hours starting this week at the MYC:
In case anyone missed the announcement last week, we are moving our hours around to try and accomodate more of our young people's busy schedules. Our new hours are Mondays 4-10PM and Thursdays 4-9PM. We are going to move our weekly church service to Monday as well.
So if you have young people ages 13-18 in your home or know someone that does, they are invited to hang out with us. We will be having church on Mondays 7-8 followed by dinner for everyone who stays. Message us for details or any questions you may have.
The Meeker Youth Center is an outreach of Family of Faith and has been sharing the love of Jesus with young people in Meeker since 1999- our message hasn't changed. Jesus still loves us! Don't miss church tonight!!

What do you do when the air conditioner goes out on a 98 degree day? Take all the kids/teens for an outing of bowling and all-you-can-eat hot dogs and nachos! Last Thursday was a ton of fun with these guys!

WinterJam 2024 was AWESOME! What talent! What energy! But most importantly, what amazing tangible presence of God was there surrounding everyone. Praise God!
