Partnerships are important in life. Peanut butter partners nicely with jelly, French fries partner well with ketchup, salad with ranch dressings, coffee partners well with doughnuts, and the 4th of July partners well with picnics and firework shows (unless you have animals that they scare). This Sunday we are celebrating Pentecost during our worship at 9:30 am. This is for a lack of better terms, the birth of the church. Join us as Pastor Mike presents "Spirit Unbound" bases on Acts 2: 1-21.

We are also celebrating Memorial Day by having our annual parade. We will line up at York UMC (6566 Norwalk Rd at 2:30 pm. At 3:00 pm we will proceed to York Cemetary in Mallet Creek where we will have a brief service. If you are a veteran, or know one, please join us!

We are stocked and ready to have another successful Food Pantry Passout! Come join us on Saturday 5/23/26 from 9:00-11:00am. We have fresh produce, Bacon, Eggs, Hot Dogs, Ground Beef and ground turkey. If you know some in need please pass this along. Look forward to seeing you tomorrow.

Most people have heard the saying "we're better together", but how many of us have given this saying much thought? This week's passage addresses this idea. We find Jesus praying for us to be unified and also glorified in him. Join us tomorrow at 9:30 am in York Hall, or online as we look into John 17: 1-11 in our sermon "So They May Be One" as we work to find answers on how we can be living answers to Jesus' prayer for unity and oneness in the world.

Most people like stories. They can be stories about history, or stories about sports, some people like scary stories told around campfires. We tell ourselves and others stories about our lives, our jobs, our communities, and our churches. In this week's scripture, Jesus reminds us that the Holy Spirit lives within us, guides us, and weaves us together into living stories of the Body of Christ, the church. Join us this Sunday at 9:30 am in - person, or online as we look at "The Story Abides".
