Don’t forget, it’s time to spring forward!

Before you head to bed tonight, be sure to move your clocks ahead one hour so you’re not late for worship in the morning.

Yes, we lose an hour of sleep… but we gain more daylight and a beautiful Sunday together!

Set those microwaves, ovens, and car clocks (your phone will probably handle itself 😉), and we’ll see you bright and maybe just a little sleepy, but on time for worship!

Who’s excited for longer daylight evenings?

As we journey through the Lenten season, we’re throwing it back to some meaningful Lenten services from years past. Today we’re featuring Maundy Thursday, and this throwback takes us back to 2023.

Maundy Thursday marks the night of the Last Supper, when Jesus gathered with His disciples, shared bread and cup, washed their feet, and gave them a new commandment: “Love one another.” The word “Maundy” comes from the Latin mandatum, meaning “command.” It is a sacred and reflective service as we remember Christ’s humility, love, and the events that lead us toward the cross.

We invite you to join us this year for our Maundy Thursday Service:
Thursday, April 2 at 7:30 p.m.
Come and experience this powerful and meaningful step in our journey to Easter. We would love to worship with you.

We are a few days into the season of Lent, a season of reflection, renewal, and preparation.

Instead of asking “What are you giving up?”
Maybe the better question is:

What is God inviting you to grow in?
• More patience?
• Deeper prayer?
• Greater generosity?
• A softer heart?

Lent isn’t just about sacrifice; it’s about transformation.

What is one way you’re hoping to grow this season?

Yesterday, we joyfully welcomed Machia Wheeler to our Ministry Staff as our new Youth Ministry Coordinator, and we could not be more excited!

Machia and his family have long been part of the MUMC family, making him a familiar and beloved face in our church community. Over the years, he has faithfully served in many ways, volunteering with our Youth Ministry, VBS, and helping with worship from the sound booth on countless Sundays.

After prayerful consideration and listening for God’s guidance, Machia felt called to step into this new role of leading and walking alongside our youth in faith. We are grateful for his servant heart, his passion for young people, and his willingness to follow where God is leading.

Please join us in welcoming Machia, offering your encouragement, and keeping him and our Youth Ministry in your prayers as this new chapter begins.

Drop a welcome message in the comments and help us celebrate this exciting moment in the life of our church!

It was a wonderful day of worship as we continued our Lenten series “Journey of Stones.” Pastor Tal shared the message “Rejected Stones,” reminding us that Jesus, the stone once rejected, has become the cornerstone and foundation of our faith.

We reflected on how rejection can shape our lives and considered the ways we sometimes place other priorities ahead of Christ. Through scripture, prayer, and Communion, we were invited to realign our lives so that Jesus truly becomes our cornerstone each day.

We also joyfully welcomed Machia Wheeler as our new Youth Ministry Coordinator (more to come on that later).

Today’s the day, and we would love to see you in worship!

Join us this morning at 9:00 a.m. or 10:30 a.m.

We continue our Lenten sermon series, “Journey of Stones,” with today’s message:
“Stones: Rejected Stones.”
Scripture: Psalm 118 & Mark 12:1–12

Have you ever felt overlooked or pushed aside? Scripture reminds us that the stone the builders rejected became the cornerstone. God still takes what feels discarded and builds something beautiful and strong.

Come worship, pray, sing, and grow together. There’s a place for you here.

We can’t wait to see you this morning!

The weekend is almost here, and we would love for you to join us for worship this Sunday, March 1!

We continue our Lenten sermon series, “Journey of Stones,” with this week’s message:
“Stones: Rejected Stones.”

10:00 a.m.: Coffee Fellowship
10:30 a.m.: Praise Service
10:30 a.m.: Kids in Faith Sunday School
