Today we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. On this Memorial Day, we give thanks for their courage, sacrifice, and love of country.

As a church, we also remember the words of Jesus: “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” — John 15:13

May we never take freedom for granted, and may we live with gratitude, compassion, and a commitment to peace. We pray for the families who carry both pride and loss, and we ask God’s comfort and blessing upon them today.

Let us remember. Let us honor. Let us give thanks.

God bless those who served, those who sacrificed, and the families who remember them every day.

Today we celebrate and give thanks for the mothers, grandmothers, stepmothers, foster mothers, spiritual mothers, and all women who nurture others with love, strength, compassion, and faith.

We honor the countless ways you reflect God’s care through encouragement, sacrifice, wisdom, and grace. Your love helps shape families, communities, and generations.

We also hold in prayer those for whom this day may be difficult — those missing their mothers, longing to be mothers, or carrying heavy hearts today. May God’s comfort and peace surround you.

“Her children rise up and call her blessed.” – Proverbs 31:28

Wishing you a day filled with love, joy, and blessings. Happy Mother’s Day

Easter Sunday — The Altar of Hope
Throughout this Lenten journey, we have reflected on the bread and the cup, the garden, the silver coins, the cross, the nails, the dice, and the sign. Each symbol pointed to sacrifice. Each moment led to the cross.
But today, we celebrate the victory.
On this day, Jesus Christ rose from the grave, defeating sin and death once and for all. The sorrow of Good Friday has given way to the joy of resurrection. The altar before us is no longer a place of mourning—but a place of hope, life, and promise fulfilled.
"He is not here; he has risen, just as he said." — Matthew 28:6
Our journey to Easter has led us here—may we continue to remember His love and draw closer to Him.
He is risen. He is risen indeed.
