Medina’s annual Boxwood Cemetery Tea is back this year. This year we are hosting a “Grand Tea Buffet”. The event is on Saturday, June 13, 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. You can get your $25 ticket at the English Rose Tea Shop or Thistle Ridge on Main Street in downtown Medina, New York. This is the hottest ticket in town and they are going quick.

Mark your calendars for this Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 12:00 pmfor the Wreaths Across America ceremony at Boxwood Cemetery

All are invited to witness the wreath-laying ceremony in the Soldiers' Section (where the cannons are).

Those who would like to - may assist in laying wreaths on veterans' graves throughout the cemetery after the brief ceremony. There are approximately 500 graves that need to be decorated, so any help is appreciated. All ages are welcome.

The Friends of Boxwood will be there to hand out free hot chocolate. We hope to see you there!

October sure was a busy month for the Friends of Boxwood Cemetery. We would like to thank Board Member- Cindy Robinson for hosting a ghost talk at the Boxwood Cemetery Chapel on October 25th. We would like to thank the the community members thst came together during the two sessions to share their ghost stories. It was a very ghostly session Thanks to all who attended.
