Join the women of Englewood Medina for an evening at A Third Place downtown as we gather for coffee, connection, and encouragement.

Carlie Dotson Malone will be sharing her testimony of how walking through difficult seasons have shaped her faith and challenged her to live in surrender. Join us as she shares on wrestling through big questions like, “Can I trust that God is really good?” and “How can I let God be God when things seem to be falling apart?”

Come be reminded that God is writing a beautiful story in each of us, and He wants us to steward it well!!

Can’t wait to hear from Christie!

Christie Polk is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 16 years of outpatient experience in community mental health, school-based services, and private practice. She is passionate about helping clients become who God created them to be while honoring their mental, physical, and spiritual needs. Christie works with clients ages 10 and up using evidence-based approaches including CBT, EMDR, and trauma-focused therapy to address anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma. Christie lives in Jackson, Tennessee, and is married to Dale Polk. They have two active boys and two Labrador retrievers.it

Susie is wife to Dub, mother to Callie, mother in law to Zach, grandmother to Betsy, Oliver and Henry. She grew up in the small town of Hazard, Kentucky. She holds a bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education. She loves to be active as evidenced by her work life. She has served as an elementary Physical Education teacher, Aquatics Director, Adapted Physical Education teacher, Special Olympics Coach, and Cheer Coach. Susie has a passion for helping women on their fitness journey. Currently she serves as First Lady of Union University, teaches Pure Barre class but her greatest joy is the time she gets to love on and serve her family.

Mallory Allen brings a fun mix of creativity and ministry wherever she goes. She earned her degree in Business Marketing and Graphic Design from Union University and has worked in freelance design, written and illustrated Bible curriculum, and hosted a mom’s podcast with Love Worth Finding Ministries. Mallory and her husband Josh, pastor at Christ Place North, have been married for 15 years and have two sons, Jake and James.

Don’t forget to make plans for join us for some fellowship tonight!!

The last couple of weeks have been quiet and a little isolating for many of us. Community has been missed.

Make plans next Thursday night @ Starbucks in Milan to sit together, share conversation, and be reminded that we are not meant to walk alone. No speaker, no agenda, just fellowship.

Our prayer comes from Ephesians 3:19 that we would be “filled” together, even in ordinary moments.

Whether you’re a young mom, single, married, widowed, or somewhere in between, you’re welcome!
