A huge welcome to Miss Katie, our new BRV Kids coordinator! Today she taught us about angels visiting Sarah and Abraham and telling them they were going to have a baby! She brought a picture of her grandmother to help us imagine what that might be like today. Seems impossible, but with God, NOTHING is impossible!

Today was all about stars in BRVKids! We tried some star origami, designed constellations, and talked about God’s promise to make Abraham’s offspring outnumber the stars.

This week we finished studying the flood with a celebration of rainbows and of God’s covenant with Noah! God ALWAYS keeps His promises AND when He makes a covenant His people, He keeps both sides of the agreement!

This week was week 2 in our new zine, The Flood. God searched the earth to find someone who remembered Him - and he found Noah! We did a lot of searching… and finding… and bubbles.

This week at BRV Kids our story took a turn. We learned about how the snake tempted Adam and Eve - he led them to doubt God’s love and care for them. Have you ever struggled with that? We all do! And God’s response is always the same - He shows us love and mercy! Also… we found a cicada, which was suuuper cool!

The forecast said it would rain all morning… but it didn’t rain! We got to learn about rest (creation day 7), and decorated pennants of the days of creation to hang on our tents. We hope you all got to snooze a bit on a cool and rainy Sunday!
