Doubt Your Doubts
Why do you trust your own doubtful thoughts? You already know Satan’s best trick is to have you question what you already know is true. He then turns those questions and doubts into lies in your mind. Unfortunately, the lies take you off of God’s path and onto detours that lead you into worry, anxiety and resentment, followed by temptation and sin. Remember, not every thought you have is a correct thought. And that’s okay. Simply let that truth give you the peace and freedom you deserve. Resist your enemy Satan who wants you to doubt God, doubt the wisdom of God’s Word, doubt the counsel of good Christian people, and doubt who you are in Christ. Right now, turn the tables on Satan by doubting your doubts! What a victory that will be!

Many people ask me what is different about the Solid Rock Road Recovery program from other Christian recovery programs. Well, the answer is this: The 10 Principles are from the Lord, and the Holy Spirit does the work. The group facilitators are just that, providing the space and the words that prepare people to experience each principle. This book can be used for individual experiences, or in groups, using the facilitators manual. (It is also in Spanish.)

Everyone who does anything to excess that brings negative results in their lives, tries to slow down or take a short break from that activity. But those who find complete freedom understand that slowing down never works and that after a break, they quickly return to the excess, and it often gets worse. (Give addiction an inch, it takes many miles.)

Freedom from addiction is first a choice, followed by an action, and finally, it is an unending commitment. Once sober, never allow yourself the option of relapsing. The Bible says God gives us a way of escape from temptation. The easiest way is to make sure your no to drugs and alcohol is a solid no.

The Solid Rock Road in-house recovery facility is now being established in La Paz, Mexico. This center for freedom, healing, and transformation is connected with a bilingual Christian Church named Destino Cristiano. I have attached the architect's drawing of this 10-bed recovery center.
