Medford UMC's service was a vibrant celebration of faith, where the presence of Jesus was seen in every moment. We're deeply grateful for our keyboardist and organist, whose music and leadership enriched our choir and conveyed the life-changing message of Jesus through song. Today, we also welcomed Marian Shaver into our Medford UMC family, rejoicing in the growth and new life that her joining brings.

More pictures from the inspiring skit performed for the congregation at Medford UMC on Sunday morning. Sunday School children, assisted by talented congregants, brought to life “The Three Trees,” a poignant story of dreams and purpose.

The First Tree aspired to become a majestic treasure chest overflowing with gold and precious gems.

The Second Tree envisioned itself as a mighty sailing ship, charting new waters and serving mighty leaders.

The Third Tree hoped to stand tall on the mountaintop, guiding people toward the divine.

Kudos to the Sunday School Teachers for nurturing these young talents and wishing you all a wonderful summer.

“The Tale of the Three Trees” was the end of the Sunday School year.

*The First Tree: Dreamed of holding glittering treasure. Instead, it was cut down and fashioned into a rough manger (feed box) that held the baby Jesus.

*The Second Tree: Dreamed of being a mighty sailing ship. It became a simple fishing boat that carried Jesus and His disciples across the sea of Galilee. The

*The Third Tree: Dreamed of growing the tallest to point toward God. Cut into wooden beams, it was used as the cross for Jesus’ crucifixion, ultimately fulfilling its purpose in a profound way.
