Tufts Interfaith Center

Tufts Interfaith Center The Tufts Interfaith Center is a sanctuary for all faiths and none. It is the prayer space of our Muslim community and is used for many spiritual programs.

The Tufts Interfaith Center is a beautiful and peaceful sanctuary, open to people of all faiths and none. It is the primary worship space for Tufts' Muslim community which gathers here for Jumah prayers on Fridays at 1 pm. It houses the offices of our Catholic, Muslim and Protestant Chaplains, and has a downstairs meeting room and kitchenette and an upstairs multipurpose room. The downstairs hosts

many meetings and small gatherings of Tufts' religious and philosophical communities, while the upstairs room hosts Muslim prayer, Christian worship, meditation classes, yoga sessions, retreats, receptions, and holiday gatherings. The primary purpose of the space is spirituality for students, and a secondary purpose is programming on social justice.
