The EKVS (Eva Kendrick Voice Studio) Generations Concert, held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, will feature a star-studded cast of past and current EKVS students, accompanied by a band of incredible musicians, as well as the Trills ’n Chills a ca****la group. This memorable night will include music from Broadway, jazz and pop-rock sung by performers of all ages, some of whom have performed on Broadway, won national vocal competitions, and performed on Broadway national tours, as well as local community and professional theatre.
There will be a pre-concert reception with refreshments, beverages, and a cash bar at 6 p.m., followed by the concert at 7, with a dessert reception during intermission.
FPUU Medfield performers include our own William Daniel Russell, a Freshman at Ball State University who has performed professional and won national vocal competitions, as well as Noble Castle and Kelsey Chatterton. Other featured performers include Sky Vaux Fuller (Broadway National Tour-Les Miserables, title roles in Annie and Matilda at Wheelock Family Theatre), Deanna Dunmyer (Broadway-I Hate Hamlet, A Christmas Carol, Hanover Theatre), Katie Wylie (Broadway National Tours of Annie and The Sound of Music) and many more! Concert pianist David McGrory, who is a Medfield resident, is the Music Director for the event. Other Medfield residents and MHS alums include Ginny Gregg, Taylor Lahaise, Lauren Conder, Anya Conti and Emily Taylor.
The concert is likely to sell out, so early ticket purchases are recommended. All tickets and any related donations will go to benefit the historic FPUU Medfield meetinghouse. The church is about to embark on a three-year $250K capital campaign to revitalize the meetinghouse. Projects include replacing the 33-year old asphalt roof, installing solar panels, repairing the spire and repainting the exterior of the meetinghouse.
This program is supported in part by a grant from the Medfield Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
