Are you familiar with Moments of Hope, an incredible organization located in Hanover that provides many services for the homeless and an incredible food pantry? All Souls will help out by making Snack Bags in August to assist with nutrition and hunger.

Our Annual Evening Prayer Service in honor of Our Community Garden is tonight at 6pm. We had to move inside due to the weather, so we will live stream it!!

We've been waiting for the tomatoes to turn, and we got the first ones tonightmalong with the first carrots and some Big Bertha peppers! The recent rains have made a big difference in our garden!

The final cabbages were picked and cleaned up today and will be at food banks in Mechanicsville Monday morning! Over 250 pounds of cabbage have come from our garden. We are still waiting for tomatoes to turn red and green beans to mature and be picked.

The first of the cabbage, Wakefield Early, was picked yesterday, and today went to MCEF and Christian Village along with 20+ pounds of broccoli. We love picking cabbage!

A warm afternoon in the garden but lots was accomplished by our awesome volunteers! We harvester beautiful broccoli, the first cauliflower, green peppers and turnips for Mechanicsville Food Banks, and cardboarded and put down leaves in the tomato and pepper rows! WOW!

Refuel

Every morning as we awake, when our rumbling stomachs tell us that our body needs breakfast, we should pause and remember that our ‘rumbling’ spirits need refueling as well! Ask yourself: How is my spirit being fed right now? What am I consuming? Is it good for me? Am I spiritually undernourished?
