Gather some small flowers, plants, or leaves with your preschoolers. Glue them on a piece of paper and write the names of your family members and some friends around each one. Allow your preschoolers to decorate around the plants, including adding some “soil” at the bottom. You could even glue dirt at the bottom of the picture. Keep this craft as a reminder that sharing Jesus is worth it. When we tell others about Jesus, we can know God is the One who helps people trust, believe, and follow Him.

Take 1 day this week to highlight these 2 things and spend 3 minutes talking about them: Show your preschooler a piñata and ask, “What do you do with one of these, and why is it exciting?” Tell your preschooler that it is exciting to see the treats fall from a piñata. Mention that we can know the treats are for everyone. Sharing the good news about Jesus is also exciting because it is not just for us—it is for everyone!

Sharing Jesus is exciting! In Acts 2, the Holy Spirit came and empowered Jesus’ disciples to share about Him with boldness—even speaking in different languages! Many people believed in and trusted Jesus that day. Preschoolers learned that sharing Jesus is exciting, and God can work through us in incredible ways! Take turns with your preschoolers saying, “Jesus loves you!” with excited voices and faces. Celebrate that we get to share Jesus with others and that sharing Jesus is exciting!

Take 1 day this week to highlight these 2 things and spend 3 minutes talking about them: Show your preschooler an image of the life cycle of a sunflower, asking him to point out what he notices. Say, “It can be hard to wait for a sunflower to grow from a little seed to a big flower, but it is worth the wait. We can remember that sharing Jesus is worth it because God works through us to help people grow in Him!”

This week we taught preschoolers that sharing Jesus is worth it. In Matthew 13:1-23, Jesus told a story about a farmer sowing seed on different types of soil. Take time this week to pray with your preschoolers for people you can tell about Jesus. As you pray, pretend to “throw seeds.”

“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Romans 10:13)
Do you remember where you were when you first heard about Jesus or who first told you about Him? Every time you talk about Jesus at home, pray with your preschoolers, and exhibit God’s love, you are sharing Jesus. You don’t have to be perfect—you just have to be present and willing to allow God to work in and through you.

Take 1 day this week to highlight these 2 things and spend 3 minutes talking about them: Ask, “What are some different things you might put on a get-ready chart, and how does a chart like this help you?” Say that get-ready charts help us know the plan for the morning. God also helps us know His plan, and part of that plan is to tell others about Jesus.

Preschoolers learned this week that sharing Jesus is God’s plan. After Jesus died on a cross and rose from the dead, He appeared to two disciples. Jesus shared with these disciples how everything in Scripture was pointing to Him. Jesus is God’s plan for the whole world, and we get to share this exciting news with everyone! Preschoolers can know that when people have a friendship with God through Jesus, they are a part of God’s plan to share Jesus with others. Take time to pray with your preschoolers this week for specific people with whom you can share Jesus.

Make a familiar snack for your preschooler but leave out an important ingredient. Consider making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich without the jelly or chocolate milk without the chocolate. Ask your preschooler to taste the snack and figure out the missing ingredient. Mention that using all the ingredients is important to make the snack what it is supposed to be. Sharing Jesus is important because Jesus is the One who helps us live the way we were made to live—in a friendship with God forever.

Take 1 day this week to highlight these 2 things and spend 3 minutes talking about them: Ask your preschooler, “What does a line leader do, and how does a line leader help people?” Share that line leaders have an important job because they help others know where to go and what to do. We have an important job, too, because God wants us to tell others about Jesus.
