What does the word FLOURISH mean??

The Dictionary defines it like this…
(of a person, animal, or other living organism) grow or develop in a healthy or vigorous way, especially as the result of a particularly favorable environment.

God’s desire for your life is that you FLOURISH and that you live your life through the beauty of the tree of life.

Here’s how…

✨Fall in love with Jesus (John 14:15 (NIV), 2 Cor 5:14 NIV)
✨Respond to sin with life (John 3:17 MSG)
✨Guard our heart from not going back (John 5:11-12)

Happy Easter!! He is RISEN!!

What is your approach to God?

We all have different approaches to God. We approach God from either our goodness or because of what HE did and who HE is. Are you earning God’s love or embracing God’s love?

”Then the Lord God planted a garden in Eden in the east, and there he placed the man he had made. The Lord God made all sorts of trees grow up from the ground—trees that were beautiful and that produced delicious fruit. In the middle of the garden he placed the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.“
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭2‬:‭8‬-‭9‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Today we looked at three trees in the Bible…

1. The tree of the knowledge of GOOD and EVIL (Gen. 3:16 NIV) comes down to the choice of trusting God or doing it all on your own

2. THE CROSS John 3:16 (NLT) He wants you to have life in Him…until you overflow

3. The tree of LIFE (Rev. 22:2 TPT) Because of HIS greatness he gives us the tree of life with different kinds of fruit for different seasons

What does it look like when we approach God through the tree of life???? We RECEIVE what he did in the cross. We GET to do it!!

It is up to you…what approach you take to God.

“Do this in remembrance of me.”

This day commemorates Jesus’s last supper with his disciples. During that meal in the upper room, Jesus washed his disciples’ feet and gave them a new commandment: “Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another” (John 13:34). The word “Maundy” comes from the Latin mandatum, meaning “command.”

So in this Maundy Thursday we encourage you to read these verses and reflect on the Last Supper.
