Parishes and individuals around the country are encouraged to join the U.S. Catholic bishops in this historic occasion, beginning with this Prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus written for the consecration.

Father Jim Begley is retiring!

All are invited to join with St. Paul to honor his 44 years of devoted parish ministry. St. Paul's will celebrate Father Begley's commitment to preaching, pastoral care, and leadership, as well as the many acts of compassion shown to the thousands of lives he has touched.

His last Mass as Pastor of St. Paul's (909 Rennie Ave, RVA) will be on Sunday, June 14, at 11:00 a.m. Following the Mass, a picnic lunch will be provided, along with song and merriment! Please plan on attending this joyous occasion!

Our goal is to answer God‘s call by building connections that will nourish and sustain both the people of our parish and the families of AFAL.
