In fantasy football, trades are a huge part of the game. They can make or break your season. The thrill comes from negotiation—identifying value,
anticipating needs, and striking a deal that benefits both sides. But the best managers know that the most lasting victories come not from cunning tricks or deception, but from fairness, honesty, and respect. A trade where one side feels cheated might win a game, but it loses trust and credibility—both on the virtual field and in life.

Proverbs 20:14 warns us: “'Bad, bad,’ says the buyer, but when he goes away, then he boasts.."

This verse paints a picture that many of us can relate to. How often do we undervalue what someone offers, only to brag later that we "got the better deal"?

Whether in fantasy football or in real-life negotiations, boasting over perceived victories obtained through dishonesty or manipulation reflects a heart out of alignment with God's principles.

As game-changing men, we aim to lead with integrity. That means being transparent in our dealings, honoring our agreements, and treating others as we would like to be treated. Real influence and respect are not won by clever schemes but by character that reflects Christ. When we trade fairly, we model honesty and cultivate trust—and in the long run, that builds stronger relationships than any temporary win ever could.

Are there areas in your life where you've treated deals, relationships, or opportunities as a competition to "win at all costs"?

Ask God to give you the courage to act fairly, to speak truthfully, and to celebrate the success of others without pride or deceit. That's the mark of a man whose victories echo far beyond the scoreboard.
