Discover, Adventure & Expedition Rangers (A Ranger Kid even snuck in there) from Penn-Del Outposts 55 & 404 came together today to help reconfigure the closet for Tiny Tykes Essentials.

These Rangers worked so hard, the project expanded! They had time to do some reorganizing in the food bank next door as well!

Before leaving, the Rangers discussed ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2‬:‭8‬-‭9‬ :
“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.”

We aren’t save by good works. We serve others because Christ served those around him. We give grace, because we first received it.

Great job today Rangers!

Gift - noun

1. A thing given willingly to someone without payment; a present.

A gift can never be earned, or it is no longer a gift.

”For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.“

Giving gifts at this time of year should remind us of the ultimate gift, Christ our Lord.

Those believing that salvation is given based off of righteousness and adherence to the law, do not fully grasp the Gospel.

”I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness were through the law, then Christ died for no purpose.“
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭2‬:‭21‬ ‭ESV‬‬

If we could good deed our way into Heaven, Christ died for nothing.

”but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.“

Enjoy your gifts tomorrow, but remember the greatest gift, needed by all and available to all who believe and call on his name.

As 2025 comes to an end, we would like to thank the Friends of the NRA (https://www.facebook.com/FriendsofNRAHQ & https://www.friendsofnra.org/) as well as the NRA Foundation (https://www.nrafoundation.org/) for their support through their grant programs!

Both of these groups are separate from the NRA, with their sole purpose being the safe introduction and education of youth, females and others that may be interested, but hesitant to enter the shooting sports.

We were honored to receive a grant this year. This grant gave us equipment that will allow our youth to compete in BB competitions. All the while growing their marksmanship skills, which will help them to grow in discipline, control, focus, goal setting, etc.

In addition, other grant equipment will help us to continue our family fun archery nights. These nights are a time for families to come together, learn about and practice archery. All equipment is provided for each archer. Each family fun archery night is lead by National Archery in the Schools Program Instructors, and ends with a Centershot Gospel presentation.

We again want to thank the Friends of the NRA and the NRA Foundation for their grant to help continue these programs.

Both of these organization are made possible by donations and fundraising through dinners. Please, consider attending a dinner or making a donation to one or both of these great groups!
