This Sunday, we’re returning to our study through the Gospel of Mark!
In Mark 4:35–41, the disciples find themselves in the middle of a terrifying storm. The wind is raging, the waves are crashing into the boat, and they are afraid they may not survive.
But there is one thing they seem to forget:
Jesus is in the boat with them.
When they wake Him, Jesus simply speaks: “Peace! Be still!” And immediately, the wind stops, and the sea becomes calm.
The disciples are left asking, “Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey Him?”
That’s the question we’ll consider together on Sunday.
The One who commands the wind and the waves is Jesus Christ—the Son of God. And this same Jesus loved us enough to willingly go to the cross and give His life so that we could be forgiven.
This Sunday, we’ll also gather around the Lord’s Table to remember His body, given for us, and His blood, shed for us.
Join us at 10:30 AM as we worship together and open God’s Word!
We’d love to see you there!

For the past seven weeks, we’ve been asking Jesus to walk through the different rooms of our hearts with us.
But this Sunday, we come to the final question: Who owns the house?
It’s one thing to invite Jesus into your life. It’s another thing to surrender the title to Him completely.
Join us this Sunday at 10:30 as we conclude our series, My Heart—Christ’s Home, and look at the beautiful story found in Luke 7:36-50 of a sinful woman who came to Jesus, gave Him everything, and heard these incredible words:
“Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”
Maybe you’ve never trusted Jesus as your Savior. Maybe you know Him, but there’s still something you’ve been holding back.
Whatever it is, the invitation is the same: Come to Jesus. Give Him everything.
We’d love for you to join us!

What happens when we invite Christ into the most private room of our hearts?
This Sunday at Pleasant Street Baptist Church, we’ll continue our series My Heart—Christ’s Home by opening the door to a room we somehow missed—the Bedroom.
We’ll look at God’s original design for marriage and intimacy in Genesis 2 and consider how sin has distorted something God created as a good gift.
Whether you’re married or single, there is a question for all of us:
Is Christ truly at home in every room of my heart?
Come join us this Sunday at 10:30 AM as we open another door and discover what it means to make our hearts truly Christ’s home.
We’d love to have you with us! ❤️

This Sunday at Pleasant Street Baptist Church
We all have a place where we keep things we don't want anyone else to see—a closet where we hide the things we'd rather keep out of sight.
Sometimes our hearts have closets like that, too.
This Sunday, as we continue our series My Heart—Christ’s Home, we'll be looking at the Hall Closet and what happens when we try to hide our sin from God.
We'll turn to Psalm 32 and discover the freedom David experienced when he stopped hiding and confessed his sin. He learned that we are blessed not because we are perfect, but because our sin has been forgiven and our guilt has been removed.
The good news? Jesus already knows what's in our closets—and He still wants to come in. We don't have to clean everything up before we come to Him. We simply need to give Him the key and trust Him to forgive, cleanse, restore, and make us whole.
We'll also have the privilege of welcoming Missionary Pastor Dave Scott, his wife Shannon, and their son John. Dave will be sharing with us about their ministry, and we'll have an opportunity to spend some time with the Scott family after the service.
Join us this Sunday at 10:30 AM. Come worship with us, hear God's Word, and consider whether there might be a “hall closet” in your own heart where Jesus is asking for the key.
We'd love to have you with us!
