We currently provide educational services to over 200 children in 13 locations across Crawford County through the work of our Pre-K Counts program. We offer families, who may not otherwise be able to participate, free education for children ages 3-5. The ELRC program offers subsidized childcare to families that are income eligible and meet the non-financial eligibility criteria throughout Crawford
and Mercer Counties. Additional programs include our Crawford County Volunteer Coalition program, which matches senior citizens with volunteer seniors to assist them with everyday needs and companionship. Our Blessing Box, located in front of our administration building in Meadville, provides pantry items to anyone who needs them. The idea is to give what you can and take what you need, it is a great way to help one another in the community. For over 40 years, we have provided free Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners to those in need or for those who have no one to share the holidays with. We typically serve over 800 Crawford County residents during the holiday season.
