Matthew 12:15-32 is a thorny passage in which Jesus gets into a heated debate with the religious leaders of his day, who level an unsavory accusation against him. What relevance does this debate have for us, some 2000 years later? Join us this Sunday, in-person or online, as Rev. Black untangles Jesus's words in a sermon entitled "The Devil Went Down to Galilee".

The twelfth chapter of Matthew's gospel opens with Jesus doing two things on the Sabbath which the religious leaders of his day deemed unlawful. What does Jesus's response to them have to say to us, some 2000 years later, about how we observe our day of rest? Join us this Sunday, in-person or online, as Rev. Black wrestles with this question in a sermon entitled 'A Better Sabbath'.
