Litha is a modern Pagan and Wiccan holiday that marks the summer solstice. The celebration will be held on Sunday June 21st at 7:00 pm in the Parish House. Everyone is welcome to join the ritual.

Evangelist Mary Wofford Moody
She currently serves as an evangelist missionary and president of the women's department at Beacon Liberty St. Temple Church of God in Christ and an active member of the Western PA jurisdictional evangelist department. Throughout her ministry career Mary has served in many roles throughout her ministry career such as youth leader, purity leader, financial secretary, armor bearer and president of the young women's Christian council. Mary found her passion working with the young women which in turn sparked a desire to further her education to better serve women of all ages.
Mary earned a bachelor’s degree in counseling and religious studies, a minor in Psychology from Liberty University, and Mary is also a certified TBRI Trauma practitioner from Texas Christian University. She is the founder of “I See You SIS’’ mentoring ministry’s that encourages and uplifts women of all walks of life who have struggled with doubt, self-worth, shame, and guilt. cultivating a life of change through the power of God, education, empowerment, and healing from the inside out to become their best selves
Mary began this journey of family ministry alongside her late husband Pastor Akim Moody over twenty years ago. Her greatest accomplishment and God given joy in her life has been having the privilege to rear their seven beautiful children and be blessed enough to enjoy the gift of nine grandchildren.
