THIS SUNDAY ~ HONORING OUR GRADUATES
With the school year now over for most students and teachers, this is a great time to give thanks for the past year of teaching and learning, as well as for educational milestones passed. This Sunday, we will offer prayers of thanksgiving for our graduates and for all our students, teachers, and school staff. For two students among us who have graduated from high school, we will offer an additional worship element. They each will be presented with a quilt (made by Lois Lines), as a visual reminder of God's abiding protection and the love and warmth of this faith community.

Please join us for this worship service on Sunday at 10am, ideally in person in our sanctuary. For everyone who cannot be with us in person, we give thanks for your presence with us online.

This Sunday, our congregation will gather around three of our teenage members (Owen, Casey, and Tanner) and support them as they affirm the promises that were made at their baptism. We will listen to scripture, we will sing, we will pray together and be nourished at the altar by Christ. May the service be an inspiration to all who attend, and may the example of those three young people nourish our community in its faith journey.

As usual, we worship at 10:00am either in our sanctuary or online via YouTube—we hope you will join us!

Anderson Chair in Biblical Preaching at Luther Seminary, to grow your preaching skills in a supportive community of lay preachers through weekly readings, discussion, and practice.

48 Sundays of the year, our gospel lessons point to the life of Jesus. On two Sundays, we celebrate the life of the early church (Pentecost), the faith of Martin Luther (Reformation Sunday), or the faith of those who have been role models of faith to us (All Saints).
