Dear MPC Members and Friends,

After carefully reviewing the weather forecast, expected temperatures, and current state recommendations, Session has made the difficult decision to cancel worship for tomorrow for the safety of our staff and congregation.

This was not an easy decision. We know how important it is to gather together for worship, fellowship, and encouragement, and we do not take the absence of our shared worship lightly.

Scripture reminds us, “This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it” (Psalm 118:24). Even when plans change, we trust God’s goodness and presence with us.

We encourage you to spend time in prayer, Scripture, and reflection tomorrow, trusting that God meets us wherever we are. Please continue to look out for one another, and check on those who may need extra care during this time.

We look forward to gathering again soon.

With care and peace,

The Session of MPC

Happy First Week of Advent!
In this gentle turning of the season, may we pause to breathe deeply, to let quiet hope settle softly in our hearts, and to welcome the light that begins with a single flame. We invite you to reflect this week on Psalm 122 & Matthew 24: 36-44

Join us this Sunday for Worldwide Communion Sunday! 🍷🍞🌍

On this special day, we come together as a global family to celebrate the love and unity of Christ’s communion. As we share in this sacred meal, we remember Christ's call to love, serve, and connect with our brothers and sisters around the world.

Matthew 26: 26-30

While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, 'Take and eat; this is my body.' Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, 'Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. I tell you, I will not drink from this fruit of the from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.'
