Are You a Closet Christian?

Jesus said in Matthew 6:6 that we should go into our room, shut the door, and pray to our Father in secret. The prayer closet was never meant to be a hiding place—it was meant to be a preparation place. It is where God strengthens us, shapes us, and prepares us for what He has called us to do.

The true test of our faith is not who we are on Sunday morning when everyone is watching. The true test is who we are when nobody is around. Are we still praying? Are we still reading God's Word? Are we still pursuing His presence? God is looking for believers who are faithful in private so they can be effective in public.

This morning, take a moment to examine your own heart and ask, "Lord, is my walk with You genuine even when no one else sees?" The good news is that God meets us in the secret place and rewards those who seek Him sincerely.
