Yesterday Deddy received a call with the pathology report and he is ‼️CANCER FREE!‼️ They were able to get everything and the tumor is completely gone. What a mighty God we serve. He is currently on the way to Atlanta for a follow-up after surgery. Please continue to pray for healing and safe travels as Deddy continues therapy and follow-up appointments. Thank y’all again for all the prayers, love, and support. We’re forever grateful.

Deddy is out of surgery and Dr.Oskouei said that Deddy’s surgery went excellent. He believes that he was able to get everything but just to be on the safe side, he’s sending it off to pathology. They will be admitting him tonight and if all goes well, like stated before, he will be going home tomorrow. Please be praying specifically for pain management and for quick healing. He will go home with therapy and will continue therapy. We love everyone and thank you so much for prayers already sent up and for the ones to be said in the future. Please continue to remember him in your prayers. 🩵

Hey, everybody. Tomorrow (04/15/2024) is surgery day. We are to be at Emory Midtown (the same hospital as before) by 7:15 in the morning. This means that more likely, like last time, surgery will happen around 9 or 10. The doctor has told us that the surgery is projected to take around 3 hours or so and that he will be removing the right knee and part of his right femur bone. He intends on replacing both of these parts with artificial. Because Deddy’s surgery will be more extensive than your average knee replacement, it is their plan to keep him overnight at Emory for pain management and monitoring. The doctor seems to think that there should be no issues and that if all does go as well as expected, he will come home Tuesday.

Like we’ve stated before, the only treatment for this type of cartilage cancer is surgery, which is a huge praise. After surgery tomorrow, everything should be gone and from here on out, he will follow up with the same doctor every 3 months for full body scans to ensure that everything is still clear.

We just want to thank everyone again for all the love and prayers. Please continue to keep Deddy and our family in your prayers. If you have a shirt, please be sure to wear it tomorrow!

We are still praying and have faith that God has Bernie and is going to continue to see him through this storm.

Please continue to lift him in prayer with us, specifically for the pain to subside so that he can get some rest.

Please continue to remember Bernie in prayer. I know we didnt get the news we wanted to hear today but I do know he is going to be just fine. God is still in control and still working miracles. Thank you for the thoughts and prayers. We love you all!❤️

Deddy is out of surgery. They’re currently at Crackle Barrel eating! The PA said it is chondrosarcoma - a form of bone cartilage cancer. They said the only form of treatment is surgery by taking out the cartilage and replacing with graphs inside the bone. Once surgery is complete, we will have to come back every 3 months to check it. We are currently waiting two weeks for the pathology report to come back and surgery is scheduled for April 15. BUT! I know a Man who can heal deddy!!

Pt got off to sleep just fine, surgery started about 40 min ago. We are sending the 1st biopsy now, everything is going as planned. We will keep you updated!

Deddy is prepped for surgery and sugar is stable. He will be taken into surgery at 10:30. Please just don’t stop praying. Our God is working and I know that He’s moving on Deddy’s behalf. Let us praise Him for the work that He’s already done and is going to continue to do in Deddy’s life. What a testimony he has.Thank everyone for all the prayers, text, calls and support! We love you all!! 🩶

Hey, everybody. Today is surgery day for Deddy. They have him scheduled to get the process started around 7:30 this morning at Emory. Please pray specifically that his blood sugar levels will remain at a level suitable for surgery. We desperately need for this in his knee and pain to be gone.

We’re asking everyone who can and who has a shirt supporting Deddy to please wear it today. We need as many people that can take Deddy’s name to the feet of Jesus to do so today. As we know more, we will update. Thank y’all in advance for the love and prayers.
