Got an opportunity today to stop by Rickman, Tennessee, and visit while they began making their changes for their fresh start!  We want to be real with our followers. This is a season for fresh starts and new beginnings.  “Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.”

We are in the year after a jubilee year on the Hebrew calendar. Well, we know that sin and disobedience bring curses and rebuke by the hand of the Lord, yes, I said that ,even in the grace covenant the sixth dispensation sin still has cause and effect.  But that’s the true beauty of the grace covenant is that despite the causes in effect that we might’ve earned with our choices, if we surrender and allow the Lord to do a new work inside of us, he will make all things new!
The apostle Paul, who is the author known as the letter to the church in Philippi: stressed that Jesus performed as the Redeemer spoken of in Isaiah 43 what the law could not do. He said:

“Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ”

so don’t hold on to the failures don’t hold on to in forgiveness and bitterness and condemnation and shame of past choices. Surrender those things to Jesus and start walking in the new beginning!

The Church that was attached to the building and the things inside of it more than the people it served, because of past offenses and hurts, was described in Revelation 2:1-7. It stood in some hard times and hard situations fighting spiritual Lampstand battles. It made it through to the other side, but it became so hard hearted and calloused that it couldn’t find its way back to its first love. The true Church doesn’t stop and build false religious walls to protect itself from never going through that again. That’s religiosity to protect the Church from allowing people inside. It must return to its first Love being a battleship for the lost People despite the strikes it suffered in the war. A battleship doesn’t retire to become a cargo ship or a cruise ship. It’s always a battleship until it is laid to rest. After this battle it has to prepare for the next one and the next one. Heaven is counting on it!
Pastor Johnny Griggs brought this similar on-time message to our Rickman congregation about 8 months ago and it came to my memory in a mighty way today. Heaven is counting on the refinement of our Churches to get back to our First Love!

We stand with the Doctrine of Holiness and Righteousness!
He used a donkey once.. he used even the rider of the donkey once.. but God will not continually use someone who is not submitting to His doctrine which is spelled out in standards through his apostles teachings such as 1 Timothy 3. Titus 1,2,&3. Ephesians 4 and 5.

Even the First Church: “Therefore, brethren, seek out from among you seven men of good reputation, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business;”

Righteousness and holiness Will set an Isaiah 28 and Hebrews 7 Priesthood standard always and forever.

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

What are you connected to?

Almost 2 years ago I was beginning my first assignment as Pastor of a church that had been beaten and battered very heavily. As I opened up the desk in the Pastor‘s office for the first time and began sorting through information and learning the things and task that I had to complete to fulfill my duty as Pastor I found a letter that was between a group of churches that were all once part of the United Methodist Church. The original building that I now was pastor of, once was a United Methodist Church, but not in this season as I was pastoring a non-denominational church. But as I read this letter between this group or some say district of churches, the Methodist would record this as a diocese, I noticed one important thing. There were many churches in this district who were suffering loss and poverty and sickness in great measures, but there were about three churches that were experiencing renewal and revival, and one of those was the head district church. The other two churches that were experiencing hope and renewal and healing were attached to the programs and the same move of the Holy Spirit as the head district Church. The other churches had distanced themselves and disconnected themselves from the stem of the lamp stand.

Exodus 37:17-24 The Making of the Lampstand - Moses records of how the Lord instructed the design of the lampstand. You can easily notice that no one branch is left by itself alone, and that every two branches are connected at a k**b which represents a blossoming bud.  Each blossoming bud sprouts to another pair which ultimately leads to one higher light or you could say higher authority.  that is fed from the branches connected below.  The design of the lamp stand is not confused with the arc of the covenant of where the power and the mercy flows down, but the lamp stand represents God‘s church which is formed from the cornerstone or as Jesus said to Peter this rock that I will build my church upon.

The Prophet Zechariah recorded his vision in chapter 4 of the seven lamp stands and the seven pipes. The Prophet and apostle John records in Revelations Ch 1 through 3 the seven lampstands and the seven stars representing the seven churches that he would write letters to based on revelation knowledge from heaven.

Now, with this said about the letters to the seven churches in Revelation, I want to ask you again what are you connected to?  Let’s say that you are connected to the lamp stand recognized as the church of Philadelphia. The next question is; are you OK with your place on the stem and not fighting to choke out the ones connected to you but taking your place and standing tall and supporting the others?

Never a more important time than right now to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
The Storms from the East as in the days of Ezekiel 25 are blowing in and strengthening. Many will run and hide believing that Matthew 24 and Daniel 9 has arrived, but there are some who are called/chosen (Matthew 20:16) to walk into the battle fields as David was chosen for Goliath. What many believe to be the last days and the falling away, we will soon see that we are in the first days of Revival and Harvest for the greatest Advancement of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ ever. I encourage everyone who is called and chosen to man your posts like never before and advance your front lines despite the storms that are coming on the horizon.

From the Harbor Master I hear those who are still in repair from the last round of storms anchor deep for the waves will increase before the calm.
-To those who have been anchored and repaired and awaiting orders, it’s time to bring the anchor up and set sail once again. Isaiah 40:31.
-To those already mid sail, deepen your draft (depth) and close your water tight outer doors that could let the outside storm waves inside your vessel (Philippians 3:2).
-To those who have been broken and battered mid sail and have sent an SOS but help has not arrived, there are tugs and support vessels enroute to you now. Your 21 days of Daniel 10 are over. Discern the identity lights as bright white lights described in (Phillipians 2:12-16 and John 3:18-21) always 2 each lights in unison one over the other in the fruits of Ephesians 5:22-33 and Galatians 5:22-26.
-To those who are coming into harbor to be refueled, restocked, and repairs. Look for the pilot to es**rt you to the correct dock. The true pilot vessel has a bright white light over a bright red light on their mast head. The white overshadows the red because the holiness and righteousness of Christ shines as the Star of David that the wise men seen upon His Birth. But the Red indicates the fire of Malachi 3 and Fire of Acts 2/Joel 2. The heat that was missing from the lamp stand Laodicea in Revelation 3. As Malachi 3 explains, you cannot have fire without refining purity.

Get ready and know that you serve the one who calms the storm, parts the seas, and crumbles mountains into the sea!

Sometimes our faith walk with Christ is like this rock formation in the video. It’s hard and nearly immovable, but it was established at the wrong elevation. So we have to tear it down and rebuild it from the proper elevation. Jesus first went low before he ascended after the cross and he told the rich young ruler who was a righteous man to sale everything he owned, give it to the poor, then come back and follow me. The Bible says in Matthew 6 and Luke 16 that you cannot serve two masters. You cannot have your cake and eat it too… people will think you are crazy and the world will label you as a failure when you sale all that you have and follow him, but finally they will see Jesus in you and receive Him instead of you.

“The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, The haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, And the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.”

**Signs of the Times**
Ezekiel 25:1-7 - God issues a warning through the mouth of the Prophet Ezekiel to the nation of Ammon because of them celebrating the demise of the nation of Israel and being a part of their demise directly. Even though God states that he used Ammon to fulfill his work to bring judgement to the nation of Israel, he warned Ammon that He was sending a people from the East to dismantle their nation to make way for God to restore His remnant post Babylonian Captivity. We seen in true history that this promise took place as Persia would raise to power and take all of Babylon. With a heart towards Israel by the Spirit of God, King Cyrus began restoring the rights of Israel to obtain their land, and rebuild the temple of God in the days of Ezra, and King Artaxerxes rebuilding the city of Jerusalem in the days of Nehemiah. Isaiah 43 coming to light, but not completely fulfilled. Jeremiah 25 full filled.

Modern day Babylon as we know 100% is Western Civilization and likely the one of two if not both of the most influential nations on the planet: USA & UK. What are the odds of a nation from the East rising against Babylon in the last days before the second coming of the Christ?
Could it be literal in the sense of physical war or maybe spiritual sense by spiritual war against western civilization religion? Or both as in the days of Nebuchadnezzar?
As Time is always winding down for us personally on this earth and humanity as a whole, I want to know as Ezekiel and Jeremiah and Daniel and John how to discern where God is in the scheme of plans. I want to know that I am not Saul (Paul) on the road to Damascus kicking against the goads of the work of the Christ who will soon return.

Important to make sure we are mindful of Jeremiah 42-44 and not finding refuge back to our Egypt forgetting that which was the curse and a plague. It will be safer in what seems like behind enemy lines as it was for young (king) David in the land of the Phillistines while he hid from King Saul who aimed to take David’s life. Isaiah 43:19 “Behold I will do a new thing…”

In the Days of Ezra many shouted for Joy when the temple was restored and many wept because of the memories of the old.
Nothing wrong with remembering the Times of Old from our journeys and our lineage, but holding onto the past can become a soul tie to our egypt if driven by emotion (good or bad) more than spiritual truth in the Word of God!

Regardless of our personal political views and how nations and cultures line up with end times prophecy, we each can discern the signs of the times as Jesus spoke of in Matthew 24 to know that the Church just entered a season change (some say shift) and in the Bible, the Church (His Bride) never dies. It might come under attack, under correction, under adjustment, but it’s never completely disbanded and destroyed. There is always a remnant that remains and it’s up to The Church to Obey the Voice and go where God says to go or stay where God says to stay. We don’t change our Doctrine to fit an era nor a culture, but we change our methods while never compromising our Doctrine. In this Era (age) The Church must always move forward and be Built! The Church is to maintain the Spiritual Culture of its community, township, city, state, country, region, and continent. (2 Chronicles 6) This is why there are Churches planted in all these different areas and not just one church in every major city. Each Church is equally important and responsible for its Spiritual assignment where it is planted.

I get asked all the time: why is our church dying? I hear many speak that the church has entered the “Great Falling Away”.
I would personally Re Read my Bible and soak in the Presence of Jesus and His Spirit, because you are not discerning the season. While we are feeling the birthing pains and sensing the pressure change and the winds of a soon arriving storm from our lighthouse in Rickman, TN, My Bible tells me that the final Trumpet is not ready to Blow, but the Winds of Acts 2 / Joel 2 are likely to shake the 7 Churches in Revelation 2 & 3 with a Mighty Rushing Wind!

We ended our Tent Revival Saturday night with a family night. We had worship, fellowshipping, food, and testimonies. Was an awesome end to a Great Week in Rickman TN. We are so grateful for our team and all the outside ministries and evangelists who helped make this a successful week experiencing Jesus like none before. Lot’s of miracles, healings, and restoration moved through the tent!
