You can tell when a burden from God has arrived.

It shows up on your face before it shows up in your hands.

Before Nehemiah ever picked up a brick, the burden was written all over his countenance. The king looked at him and said, “Why is your face sad, seeing you are not sick? This is nothing else but sorrow of heart.”

Some burdens can’t be hidden.
Some burdens won’t let you smile your way through them.

The burden showed on his face.
The favor opened a door.
The assignment changed a city.

Be careful what you’re trying to shake off.
It might be the very thing God sent to move you into your next season.

When burden arrives, everything changes.

Some burdens weren’t sent to break you.
They were sent to wake you up.

Nehemiah didn’t ignore the burden. He answered it.

Don’t run from the burden.
There may be favor hidden in it.

God still heals.
Not just bodies.
He heals minds, hearts, trauma, grief, exhaustion, disappointment, and the places nobody sees.

You are not too far gone.
You are not forgotten.
And this moment may be Heaven reminding you that healing is still possible.
